The Green Green Grass of Home was ear-marked for David but their manager decided to give it to Tom Jones - the rest is history. David never made it to super stardom but he was a great club circuit entertainer and whenever I hear his songs I miss my Wales.

I have this video my late husband as I am was and am fan of David Alexander he and Tom Jones were born in the same town in Wales so they sound on slower songs the same sorry tom fans David nails it every time he should of had much more exposure than he had we need to give to him now to his new fans that treat that David Alexander RIPxx

David was snorkling in the med near to Gibraltar when he was infected with an unknown bug in the water. He never recovered from the illness and died in 1995.
