We just tried the layered enchiladas. Used your Enchilada Gravy and Cheese Sauce. We didn't have much ground beef so we used your refried beans as a substitute. You always say use what's in your kitchen. It was wonderful. We'll never use canned enchilada sauce again. Loved the cheese sauce too. We also made your taco seasoning to try later on. Thank you so much. 💕💕

Tried this today. I didn’t have any onion power but I had half an onion so I diced it and cooked it in the meat. It was great and my wife liked it too. Thanks for posting it. I will be making it again.

I can't handle a lot of spice so I end up eating the same Mexican foods over and over again. But this recipe was something I could handle. I LOVED it and so did my family. It's quick and easy and I can't wait to make it again!
Mom, 85, made this for dinner, good memories, texmex deliciousness ... Mom used corn tortilla flour instead of all purpose flour to thicken the sauce... OR ...left over cooked tortillas, put in a blender with some water... everybody has their family recipe.
So I made this almost identical to you except flour tortilla instead of corn...it was a crowd pleaser...made a 9x13 pan and only 3 slices left. Delicious...husband said definitely need to make it again!!! Luckily we have it for lunch tomorrow!!!
She said ....not authentic...I don't know what that means :) But this casserole was delicious. Exploded with flavor. All of my family loved it. I made some rice and beans on the side.... Thank you for the simple directions.....I appreciate that so much!!

That is so simple but really complex, love the instruction you always do very well...I never would have come up with the cheese sauce blend....gotta be outstanding, it's 5:30 AM, but I want dinner...Thanks again, you're the best!
I made the sauce and it was delicious. The second time, I did half chicken broth, half beef broth and added 1tbsp of cream cheese per 2 cups of liquid ( I did 4 cups of broth and 1oz of cream cheese). It cut the intensity of the spices enough for my kids to appreciate it 😋 Edit: by the way, your recipes are what my craving day dreams are made of 😍
Mmm...can't wait to try this recipe. My mom is sending me 3 lbs of dried Ancho chiles so I can make the traditional salsa rioja. I'm going to batch cook it and freeze in 2 cup zip lock baggies for tamales and enchiladas. Thanks for the wonderfully detailed video!😘
