All these reruns are nice, getting all the URs I missed,
UvH did quite a bit of work in the Ch 14 mob fleet. She made a huge difference in getting rid of the addon mobs esp those pesky shielded ships.
I still use UvH in boss fleets - META and OpSi as well. Her single fire salvo damage figure is somewhat low, but because she halves reloads, any gun which has stupid long reloads (e.g. Musashi triple 410mm or Kearsarge prototype triple 406mm) makes excellent candidates for UvH FAR makes up for it, and sometimes she will steal MVP spots as well.
I still remember my old deleted account, I use gun with fast reload and she fires every 10 second each in one battle although damage wasn't high😂
Idk I use Ulrich for Guild Boss fights and she spits out good damage while not Flagship
I have her use the Georgia or Champagne gun for med/heavy armor
And using a lower reload gun she cranks out even more damage.
@junkiexl86 triple guns always have better DPS, and UvH skill is % based. That mean she gains more benefits using a gun with unnaturally long reload.
@@Trades46 My testing didnt produce results to back up your theory. Ive tested many guns with her including Musashi's gun, NJ's gun, Georgia's gun (rainbow 457) and barrage guns like the triple 305/twin 406 etc and she consistently does highest damage with the twin 457 Georgia gun. The twin 406 barrage gun is 2nd.
Mushashi gun was the lowest.

still love using UvH together with FDG they just obliterate enemies but I relegated them to the mob fleet
I was lucky to pull for her and got her when her rerun came out. She was one of my UR iron blood members that I couldn’t get when she first came out. Mainly it was because I didn’t play azur lane up until last year. Since then I’ve been having a lot of fun with the game. So being able to have her is all the more happiness I’m able to enjoy. This year is already going great for me and we haven’t even made it a full month in and it’s absolutely amazing!!!
Man that Bismarck 1 line hurt. Aside from UvH Bismarck 1 and Tirpitz are the only German battleships I have. Working on FDG. I took a very long break from the Game and the only UR I have aside from Uvh is New Jersey, and the Sandy and Warspite retros

I find myself with the pulls I did having 2 Ulrichs, not sure if I should use the extra to LB or keep as a second. What would you recommend?

You don't need to have 2 of the same ship, so you should use the other ulrich to lb your other ulrich

actually, for those that don't have nj back in the days before bis2, it'sreally a god, you see, cause it fire quicker, it can throw more damage in the situation of dying or running out of time, very good for pvp and meta fights, but well, and then came the bis 2
No UvH is very inconsistent compared to other UR ships, the problem is that she has a very strong crit damage buff on main gun shots but no crit rate buff except for black shell
actually if u take out the 18% that bismarck get from plymouth, that will drop bismarck damage down to 400k just like UvH. in a lot of my OS run and fight that have both bismarck and uvh, uvh either match bismarck or out dmg her. kearsage also match bismarck as well. in heavy armor boss fight, uvh on yamoto gun really hit hard, i have seen her out dpg both bismarck and new jersey head on using yamato gun while the other 2 using 457 or any other gun.
It's so funny to me how in the first run I was like "meh maybe I'll just skip this one" and with just the 3 daily build I got every damn girl in the banner. Didn't think much of it at first and at some point I read UvH's skills and thought "oh shit, that ain't too bad"
What if they put bulins in the construction pool?
I like running an Iron Blood BB fleet in OpSi. UvH is going to be replacing Seydlitz for quick off cycle damage.

My Ulrich manage to sometime steal MVP from Yorktown 2 in Light Armor Opsi boss fleet. An optimally equipped Yorktown 2 that is buffed from Kearsarge and Sirius, mind you.
Probably also good for Repulse META farm for those who missed it?
Why do you guys use the white shell alongside the fire control radar? Why not black shell and fire control radar?

@@ExorineSure, but ships like New Jersey already have guaranteed crits in their kit so giving them crit damage might be more useful.
I would say she is still amazing after all this time! I use her with white shell and gold fire control radar since she relies on barrages too. Doesn't miss a spot

Shes worth your cubes no matter what type of player you are tbh. She'll be in Opsi fleets long after NJ gets power crept etc.
This. Any gacha UR is worth. I hate when people downplay these ships just because better ones release.
She may not be the best at most things but I consider her one of the top picks because of her consistency.
I got 2 uvh from the free tickets and 1 from my cubes. Im so lucky because i lack UR bulins.

This might be completely wrong but considering that Laffey 2, Unzen and Guam will probably see some use in PvP, Ulrich with her anti Light/Medium armor skill might become a new meta there.
Mostly Laffey 2. Current meta is Jintsuu Meta and 2 of L2/Fortune Meta/Shima/Harbin/Anchorage. Unzen is a decent option, Guam not so much. But yes, there'll be many light/medium targets.

Probably not. Ulrich’s kit is kind of bad for PvP compared to other ur bbs. That’s why she hasn’t seen much use despite the fact that meta vanguards have been medium and light armor since 2021.
@@alexiosblake9804 She’s an OK option. She’s better than most, but not pvp meta backline, which remains either triple UR BB (that sadly doesn’t include UVH because Zwei, Vanguard, Musashi, Kear, honey bunny, even Seydlitz are better options), preload (Chisa/Aquila but they are falling out of meta) or stall (Hiryuu retro).

You use Bismarck I because you don't know you're gimping your fleet. I use Bismarck I because it's the only one I have. We are not the same.

She's definitely a must grab. Unlike Vanguard and Kron who have underwhelming damage for what they are.
You don't bring Kronk or Vanguard for their personal damage. You bring them for their supports which are very powerful and unique.
@@baconpwn Not really. Ive tested countless times and overall fleet utility/survivability improvement wasn't enough of an increase to justify thier use. A classic case of losing more than you gain. A mistake many players in AL make I've noticed over the years.

I saw myself from dreaming using her at lvl 100 and she's absolutely fantastic! Not my favorite but definitely a great ship to my fleet. The dream happened way before I pulled Ulrich
