I think it's the opposite. The police cars make people drive worse! In Season One's Deputy Dukes, Bo and Luke drive one and lose just about all of their skill behind the wheel of it.
He may have drove better for a bit. But you knew he would crash it. Nobody can be Roscoe other than James Best. He Sorrel Booke, and Denver Pyle were awesome veteran actors . Thankfully they will live forever in our hearts and videos of this great show!!
Evan look at him he isnt that big, very slim for a fat dude, those windows are pretty big, and breaking the immersion here a little, the doors can open irl so theres a cut if someone cant get in
Late by 7 years, but I’m glad people get to actually meet their hero’s. I’m also glad he isn’t high and mighty like other actors and goes to fancy restaurants so you could have that chance.
The Best series that was ever on TV! If you didn't like this, there's definitely something wrong. I don't care what anybody says, The dukes of Hazzard was the best!
"Uncle Jesse don't know who to chase, so he's just following the smoke." Sometimes, that's the best way to live... If you don't know who to chase, just follow the smoke.
yep, there went another whole frame ... I think they actually killed more than 100 Chargers, making the show. And another dozen making the movie, which IMHO was not nearly as good. And the flag on top of the car wasn't there to put down black people, but today's world is far too PC to want to try to understand.
"How long ya reckon that radiator could last?" :) ooh waylon and his commentary ! just the way he throws it out there i the context of the scene is just funny to me.. :) @2:15
@@altha-rf1et My bed time was right after the Dukes so I always heard the Dallas theme music from bed. When did Dynasty come on? For some reason I was thinking Dynasty was on Friday nights too, circa 1979-81.
They dont make tv like this anymore. Or atleast I dont think they do. That whole car chase scene was extremely fun to watch and made me realize why I loved the show as a kid. Great innocent family tv. Glad its on Dvd so we can watch great shows like this whenever we want. :D

Well, a LOT changes in just 20 years too. I found out the hard way when I bought a Dodge and was shocked to see the words "Division of Daimler-Benz" in neat little letters on the first page. Oh, well, my car was made in Ontario, Canada. So much for "buying American."

Chrysler has had the weirdest luck trying to remain a American marque despite Daimler Benz and now Fiat owning the whole Guo company. Part of the reason Dodge has gone stupid in the last few years trying to now call itself "Ram", which would be as stupid as GMC rebranding itself "Sierra".
Amazing how Roscoe's driving skills improved while driving the General Lee..
Lol i know right?
Maybe the General is like Christine and is "assisting" Roscoe a little bit...
Actually might explain why he's seemingly indestructible!

You can check on IMDB...
The. Duker. Of. Hazzard.
Poor Rosco 😪
The two best law men in a comedy show and roll was Sheriff Rosco of hazard county and Deputy Barney Fife of Mayberry.
@@evilfluff6634 As a Dukes fan, I think the show wouldn't have been as successful without a lovable goofy guy like Rosco...
I'm a grown man and I just belly laughed at Boss Hogg getting in the General Lee. Classic.

No. My dad used to laugh at me because I would always unknowingly cringe every time it "landed"..

Ol' Boss Hogg looked physically hurt crawling into the General Lee. but of course I would too these days. LOL!
Sarah Hays They actually killed over 350 cars in the series!
Man this brings back soo many memories!!! Go General, Go!!!
I love how the Dukes don’t even bother trying to stop them. They just really wanted to see where this was going
As if Boss Hogg would really shoot & murder them on the spot for their car lol
I love the commentary through these episodes. :)
one of the best chases of the series. I love the fact everyone ends up in different cars.
Dukes of Hazzard is one of my favorite programs. I love Daisy!!!
When I was a kid I didn't get much out of Roscoe and Boss Hogg, but my dad loved them. 40 years later, they're pretty darn funny!

Yes. They were great in this show
Put this wonderful show back on TV PLEASE!!!!!!!

Boss and Roscoe easily could have had their own separate show. 4:57 - That looks like it would have killed the driver in the cop car.
It's opposite day in Hazzard County.
The General is chasing the Sheriff!
They did that in the first episode.
