With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns - Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.

Loved the villain. Cold, calculating, and intimidating. One of the more underrated films of 2016.

That cut to the title screen is POWERFUL. Goosebumps, every time.
Denzel only works with the best. This whole cast knocked it out of the park. This is one of my favorite movies of all time.
One of the best movies of 2016 in my opinion. Very underrated compared to the others.

Whoa I was not expecting much, but this is amazingly made and it's got very, very promising traits.

Finally, a decent movie that will consider buying. There haven't many in the last few that I would get from Netflix let alone buy!!

Absolutely amazing movie. Even the villains were cool as hell, which is rare. Great action, great casting, and pretty good story (just wish it went a bit more in depth). But great movie, one of my favorites.

Denzel is so great in everything hes in. I love his talent and presence even though you dont see him in this clip.
What we can learnt from this movie is that do not say anything when the bad guy walk off if not he will shoot like what this bad guy are doing because he not happy if people insult insult him. Much better is to keep quiet just let bad guy go off and this is what happen when you cant keep mouth shut.
Yes we know the bad guy are coward when they with gun and more of them but still we need to think about other who will be suffer

Or just watch the Seven Samurai - Hollywood copied it shot for shot, so much so that Kurosawa (who directed Seven Samurai) wrote to them saying "You've made an excellent film. Unfortunately it is my film".
Yeah! I have it on disc. Saw it as a child with my parents at the theater. but this is a remake. That is all "Hollywood" can do now.

I prefer the original. I think "Silverado" was also one of the great movies that never got full recognition This re-make of the magnificent seven has a great cast but no cigar.

OK shall we agree to call this "The Seven Cowboys" or "The Seven Gunfighters" .... please don't insult the the Magnificent Seven ..... this is a good but new movie inspired by the mag 7, in turn a westernized version of the Seven Samurai. Yeeeehhhaaaa !!!! all good !!

Save yourselves the trouble/time and see/watch the Original (1960) Classic instead. One of the greatest Western's of All-Time, nominated for one of the best Film Scores in Film History composed by the great Elmer Bernstein. With one of the best ensemble casts ever! Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Robert Vaughn, etc.
This remake was Awful. The characters (Heros) were nothing Magnificent at all, the antagonist's were weak, with a lot of typical Modern Hollywood B.S., extremely political, with very little, and made up historical context.

Machinima and Film, you probably didn't even know the "original" isn't original at all, and anyone can say the same about the 1960 film... dumbass.
If your a fan of the originals , skip this remake . For one that rousing score that was in all the films is missing . Watch Salvation or Bone Tomahawk instead . Nice town and sets though and Ethan Hawke is the only interesting character . People under 30 don't want this genre anymore . or never even rode a horse .

idk what you're on about, im 19 and i love westerns so much, and this movie is one of the reasons why i love this genre
