Goodnight and billy covering his back is the best part
We all need homies like that
Faraday goodnight and billy are true heroes
i was like "aw hell naw chris pratt aint gonna die face down ass up", then he pulls out the dynamite then im like "FUCK YEAH"
Akio Candano Naw*
Akio Candano same
Faraday didn't die. He became the Star-Lord.
Occult Factory nice one
Delta Labs who?
starlord man legendary outlaw
Well he has always been lucky with one eyed jacks.
you damn right!
I know I'm not the only one who heard Goodnight yelling "Ride Faraday ride!!" All of three of these men went out with a bang though!! #Respect
Goodnight was definitively one great character. I think they could explore him more.
You are right. Goodnight did yeah that.
hehe with a bang
I didn’t know that till you mentioned it!
Is that a line reference to RUN FORREST RUN
This was my eye opening of movie as a kid. I realized that not all the good guys live happily ever after. And though I think it doesn't feel good to see someone you like die in the movie, I think it sends a sense of reality in it.
Also to me Goodnights death was plain brutal and when I saw him get hit by the gun, I knew he and Billy were dead, but I got goosebumps when he fell from the church
@@lennyrumschlag2300 I felt that

This movie is really great. I know it is a remake, and I know I have not seen the original, but I have heard it actually sticks pretty close to the original. I loved this movie and with each death of a character, big or small, I felt impacted. It was adventurous, funny, portrayed friendship, sacrifice, and I just really wish more people knew about it.
I really liked this but the original is really cool too! lots of big name actors are in the original aswell as the knife vs gun scene being wayy cooler
Regan Robinson I totally agree with all you said. This was one of my favorite films of 2016
Just want to point out, the "original" isn't original either. Its a slight retelling of a similar story but with Ronin (masterless Samurai) fighting off bandits called "Seven Samurai". This version is actually insanely close to the original Samurai film too, its amazing how the same formula works so well.
Regan Robinson it's funny. it sticks closer to the original (seven samurai) than to the original magnificent 7
Definitely watch the original! It's such a a great film!
I hope I can die with this much dignity.
No Same here. Chris Pratt going out in a blaze of glory is my favorite death scene in recent memory.
No same
What makes this sad is that Goody left the night before because he was haunted by his battles in the Civil War but then came back to aid his friends, only to be gunned down. He’s not just a legendary sharpshooter now; he’s now remembered as the hero he was claimed to be.
I cried when Billy and Goodnight died but was shocked Faraday died like that.
And that my friends is how you deal with an enemy Bastion.
sarificing 3 teamates? 2 widows? and a mcguy?
Hey, no one ever said it was a sound strategy.
BBmetalhead04 did he alle use dynamite and a cigarete.
BBmetalhead04 i Don't smoke
When you deflect Bastion but he dosn't shoot. 😩😩
There is something to be said about the classic epicness of Goodnight being shot off the steeple.
The impact of him hitting the ground... Damn! I felt that.
Gives me goosebumps every time i watch it, billy and goodnight both went out like badasses in that steeple.
man the to sharpshooters on the top of the church who died was the worst I almost cried.
I will be honest when I saw this in the movie, I most certainly shed tears..... they were good men. 'Till the end.
"Who do we have here?"
Joshua Faraday. More of a hard-headed, determined man than you'll ever be.
Child Of God gay
gareth cooney Very gay
It’s such a small moment, but I just love it how that guy stands down the goon about to shoot Faraday, before actually going over to help him light his cigar. Obviously before it was revealed to be a ruse for his sacrifice!
It’s just something that I honestly can’t help but replay over and over again. I don’t know how to describe it.
Anyone else do the same, or at least understand what I’m saying? It’s definitely one of my favourite movies and scenes.
Mr Peanut yeah my fav part such respect was shown and that is a honorable enemy
boxcuber it’s definitely one of my saved clips on RUclips.
Just goes to show that, whenever it’s a small or large thing, whenever someone is fighting whatever side for one reason or another...
Not every combatant is the same generic evil guy that they appear to be whenever they’re fighting against you or not.
We’re all people. Everyone is different, with their own beliefs, philosophies and views on life.
Sure, the eyepatch dude was fighting against our Heroes ( who were fighting for their own beliefs on what was right and wrong) but although it was such a small, tiny moment in a larger conflict,
it showed the humanity, in one form or another, that is within not only him:
But in all of us.
As you said, the respect and the amount of honour that some, normally badass looking but ultimately faceless, henchmen showed is absolutely incredible.
And it goes to show an awful lot about people when you really choose to think about it.
And for that, and this scene, is such a brilliant illustration of that simple fact. An absolutely brilliant movie and such an incredible brief moment in this amazing scene.
Sorry if it’s a bigger reply than you expected and I went off a little bit off on a tangent! 😅
It's respect. Plain and simple. Respect for an adversary who shows honor. It'll get you killed, like 9 times out of 10, but....
Respect to let a guy have one last smoke before he dies. A bit more character then some of the villains get nowadays. Granted he’s ready to kill him right after but it’s still respect.
@@boxcuber1599 Yeah and they blew up right after. Respect is a luxury.
Smoking seriously harms you and others around you
besso2258 He was gonna die anyways. He needed the light to get the dynamite going
Rishem Bhogal are you dense? He was making his joke based off of the fact that the last smoke literally harmed him.and everyone around him. If he hadn't smoked he couldn't have lit the dynamite, killing everyone around him
Masamoto6 Ohhhh... I just misunderstood that comment. Sorry, now I get it
@@jasontodd42 At least you admitted it and moved on.
I've seen flame wars over this that took up the whole page.
Lmao!
So respect to both of ya.
Underrated comment.
"Ride Faraday Ride!"
Why did Billy and Goody have to die apart? Loved them together.
Ali Altizo 😢(tips hat) rip billy and goodnight
3 years later, sorry for the late reply fam, but they didnt, they both died in that steeple
@@drewg3464 he means why didnt they die side by side, because when goodnight was shot he fell out of the steeple and died on the ground where billy died in the steeple still.
@@AnnihilateUTM nah, they both died right there in that tower, his body fell after he died.
@@drewg3464 actually he didn’t when he fell from the steeple goodnight had screamed before falling down onto the ground before dying
“I’ve always been lucky with one-eyed Jacks” - Faraday 2016
at last goodnight did die a ghastly death he'd been worried about
Anish Dey But at least he died with his best friend by his side.
Farewell, Kingpin, Star-Lord, and Storm Shadow.
how he said dynamite was hilarious
Smoking kills man
Larry Sanchez 😂😂
You are right
adam _israel ....it's a drag, that's what the brand was called. Nice try on being smart though.
Great movie, everyone has the personality that you will never forget. Love everyone of that seven! Great man!
don't exactly know why but I almost cried when Faraday broke the match trying to light the cigar
who else heard Billy's last words just before he died when he was looking at the canteen he muttered "goodie"
I hated that chris Pratt died
It's okay as long you get a bad ass "ill take ya all with me"-death
Cristina Torres that's why I loved this movie. It wasn't cliched. the main characters actual die unlike in most movies where they all lived
why don't you watch the original seven samurai then, it's a better movie than any remake/ripoff of it will ever be.
Ya but this was a badass way to go out
Cristina Torres same!
Truly one of the greatest movies to me, in the top 10 for sure. Great plot and acting. Casting was perfect. Music was well played. Much story. Everything was perfect about this movie 100/100
“Andelez guaro!” Was the best by Lopez. He and Faraday developed good chemistry by the end
Is "Andale, Güero!"
Rest in Peace nick dash. the 2 cowboys, chad and nick. Chad is the one eye gunman, and Nick is the one that calls out dynamite. their both brotheres, and awesome stuntman. their brother j.j. was the stunt double for chris pratt
Faraday was reborn into peter quill and became the space cowboy: star-lord
Men billy was my favourite
RandomMadPotato ik billy was awesome
Noooo not faraday
A black man. A Mexican. A native American. An Asian. Three white guys. Nobody complained about "forced diversity", I'm glad.
I was watching this with my dad i was holding back my tears since theye were all my favouirte characters
And Rest in Peace James Horner.
Billy didnt die he became storm shadow
Faraday a great man, hero and friend

00:43 idk why but my favorite line of the movie haha. Find that ride line so cool

3:55 damn i didnt see that one comin
4:00 merry Christmas bitches
4:00 Alluh AKBAR
damn i laught too much harder that a man should ever laught on this planet
Faraday was smart af. He chose that position to fake die so he could use the cigar to light the dynamite. Smart as hell
Faraday is my hero
And that's why it stands on it's own.
it was never about the cards ......
THIS IS THE BEST SCENE I AM CRYING
GREAT SCENE!! GREAT MOVIE!!
Good work!
What a movie i really loved that
As a person who was laughing all the way through A Monster Calls, this gave me the feels. :(
The original had 40 bandits. This one had an endless number of them. And, this one was extremely violent, even for those who have seen violent movies. It was over-kill, pardon the pun. That's why the original 1960 movie was a masterpiece that one can see over and over again.
He brought a whole new meaning to going out with a bang
who the hell is the guy that lights Pratt's cigar?!...the governor?😂😂
MAD MAN he's a honorable enemy in a way. stopped that guy from shooting Faraday with no honor and lit his cig.
MILKYbars100 What's the name of the actor who lit Faraday's cigar?
Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that all this fighting was started by one very greedy and selfish man.
And the gattling crew is killed off because ONE guy decided to be selfless?
Like if he hadn't done that, Faraday would never have been able to light the dynamite.
Angryboy Not exactly selfless. But back then there was more or less a gentlemans code. He was giving him one last smoke. Like he said, he's always been lucky with one eyed Jack's. The guy that gave him the light had one eye.
+Faize Gipsy LOL, I thought he meant penis, as in calling them a bunch of dick heads!
Honestly, respect to the dude who lit faradays tnt tho. Like at least he showed respect for the guy
Faraday hit 'em with one last magic trick
The Incredible Disappearing Gatling Gun
Faraday was the 2nd leader right in magnificent 7?
Ashlyn Graham
yes
Yes he was, just like on the original where Yul Brynner was the leader and Steve McQueen was his second. Both Vin (McQueen) and Faraday (Pratt) were the first ones chosen by the leader, Chris (Brynner) and Chisholm (Washington).
Just watched this movie and I cried for about 30mins. 😭😭😭
It's magnificent movie also, I love it.
I enjoyed this movie
Big shots are there
Nice story
It's really a good work
ほんとカッコいい…
Admit it you all like no quietly in the theaters.
1:48-4:16
Never has there been a more 'Murican way to go out!
I like Chris Pratt he's my favorite character in jurassic world
I know he was brave
Eventually I gave up watching this movie because I could never be satisfied with the ending.
Man Faraday was the best part of this movie.
Enemies =bum,bum,bum
Faraday=one shot one kill
Best scene in the movie
exactly what star lord would do...
God I fucking love this movie. I almost cried when I saw billy die
IKR billy was a badass. And him and Goody were a good duo lol
Ride faraday ride is the best part
And I was sitting here thinking they wouldn't kill Chris Pratt in the movie :( or hell, pretty much everyone died here at the end.
Did anyone notice.
The guy who shot Faraday in the leg. Was killed in the shootout when the magnificent 7 came to town.
He must have 7 lives.
I cried like a kid
0:42 "Ride! Faraday ride!". I'll make a tattoo of that line...
Bad timing for patchy there to have some honor. Lighting Faraday's cigar instead of just killing him was his and his friend's demise.
I've always been lucky with the one eyed jacks
One dam good movie!!!
Faraday goodnight and billy are true heroes
That smile is priceless
If your gonna go out go out with a bang living it till the last!!!!
It is very good Film lg and Hessen
Ya know, I've always wondered something in Western fight scenes like this: how do the people shooting from long distances know who're the good guys and who are the bad guys? Everybody's basically wearing the same clothes. It's not like a war battle, where you have two sides generally wearing different and distinguishing uniforms - both sides here are just wearing clothes.
Wouldn't there be a lot of friendly fire?
In this particular movie, I don't think Bogue gave too much of a shit, especially when he pulled out the Gatling gun. Yeah he hired an army, but more casualties means less cash he needs to draw out of his pocket.
Also, plot.
tfw your team was escorting the payload and mccree ultied
Vesphuong But at least he made his peace with it. He came to terms with the fact he might die if he went back to fight, and went back anyway. He certainly redeemed himself and did not die the coward he thought he had become.
demoman*
Gran pelicula !!! Por qué murió el mago😔😔😔
Great film !!! Why dead of the magician😔😔😔
"Goodnight" sweet Prince RIP
The best part of the movie :)
i have always been lucky with one eyed jacks!
Went out like a real one and got the last laugh 👍
I saw the movie but still amazing
this is a sad scene of faraday his real name is chris pratt that plays Owen Grady from jurassic world good movie but sad I love western movies but manificent 7 is the best western that I seen I haven't even seen the old version movie the magnificent seven in the 1960s I was born in 1992 growing up watching western movies with mom and dad
Ashlyn Graham is so dramatic I feel sad watch him death to sacrifice his life for the people and his friends
Ashlyn Graham The old one was waay more bloodier and depressing! lol
The original emphasizes what it meant to be a cowboy and the significance of their mission to save the village when there was nothing in it for them. The action is toned down in comparison to this version. I definitely recommend it as its own movie. It won't feel like the same exact story.
I would love if Chris Pratt at anytime during his career actually referenced his death in the movie.
Duy Nguyen I seen tombstone and wyatt earp
Always been lucky with “One Eyed Jacks”.
Strategy wins the day.
Geez, I hope they’re ok
oh shit!!!!!!
If Goodnight and Billy are gonna die together, at least down show Ethan Hawke falling from a high bell tower and into the graveyard beside the church.
For some reason, Faraday reminds me of Mccree.
looks good western..
