True but sadly, many black women only find their worth if they have a ring. It doesn't even matter how "dusty" the man is as long as he marries them. Women are shamed by other women if they aren't married. It happens to me in my own family. My mom and aunts will constantly ask about me having a man or getting married since I'm still single in my late 20s. They worry or act like something is wrong with u if you are unmarried. So i do understand the pressure, but I'm not settling. I was engaged before, but I broke it off at the time because i knew deep down i deserved better, and i wasn't truly happy.

There's something I've noticed, I was watching "Ready to Love" and on the show the BW would choose men based on them being " dark skin" , tall and accomplished.
