How To Make a DIY Customized Sash with Cricut HTV 🎂

- This tutorial will show you how to make a DIY customized sash using Cricut HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl). Personalized sashes are the perfect craft idea for a wedding, birthday party, bachelorette, bridal, bridesmaid, prom, homecoming, or graduation. You can use any Cricut Machine for this project (I have a Cricut Explore Air 2). I started off by designing the text on my Cricut Design Space App. Then, I used my Heat Press to adhere the iron-on vinyl to my satin sash. Making your custom sash has never been easier. I just found your channel while looking for an easier way to make sashes for my daughters lacrosse team Senior night. I wanted to share, if you cut a rectangle around your words in design space, you can skip the step of cutting them into strips with scissors, as the cricut sections them off for you! I learned that yesterday from The Rhinestone World and it saved me SO much time weeding the team names!

Muthiara is a font that I downloaded from DaFont.com. However, I have to warn you, if you choose to use it on something you're selling, you have to get permission first.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Technically, there isn't just one answer to this. It depends on how long your phrase is, the font you choose, and the size of your sash. First, you have to lay the sash on a flat surface and measure the width and height of that one side. Then, type out your phrase, add the length of all the words (spacing included), and ensure the words aren't too tall to fit on that sash. I hope this helps. 💛

@@DeAnnCreates was the one that you used 36 inches? The one online is 36 inches but the one you used looks longer. I was thinking yours was 72 inches. 36 inches seems to be for a child.
Okay, I re-watched the first part of the video and paused it on the part where I was holding the sash up to the camera. It definitely says 36". I guess it is 36" instead of 72" because it is folded in half. Anyway, I hope that helps.
