dear my grandfather try your tut withe his dissel analoge but it didn't work out for him wahte do you think is the problem and can you helps out. thank you from Belgium
I have a question...I am converting the marklin Amtrak X995 83341 to DC/DCC sound for two Rail operation. I brought a 1968 HAMO marklin Swedish RC1 8343 and I am going to do a motor and truck swap between them. Making the X995 two Rail DC and DC HAMO rc1 AC. The perminate magnet in the dc HAMO Marklin is slipping out of the case so I got the DC motor upgrade kit 60944 to replace it and the armature. Can I use the same steps in this video for my conversion project? Or do you have a video of converting a HAMO marklin DC to being dcc ready? If you need a video showing and explaining what I plan to do its on my channel. Thanks again! Eddie

Thanks, this is going to help me converting 6 locomotives. One thing, those are not inductors, but resistors.
Thank you team. I'm digitizing my analog loco with latest Marklin 60906 and this tutorial helped me a lot in understanding wire color code.
