Ashland Amtrak Station- July Road Trip Stop #3

- This is part 3 of my July 2021 road trip to the northeast. On July 23rd 2021 we are in Ashland, Virginia at the Amtrak Station for the first time and we were able to catch 4 different Amtrak trains in only a couple hour span. This station is widely known for having a Virtual Railfan camera mounted on the station that streams live on RUclips and their website 24/7/365. Its well worth the trip if you get the chance to go. Very peaceful little town and alot to see in the surrounding area.

Auto Train does not stop at Ashland Station and Petersburg Station. It does stop at Staples Station in Richmond.
I never said it stops in ashland. Im quite familiar with their route and stops.

everybody wants to be green, amtrak should start using the old iron wheel baggage carts. you can't get more green than that and low maintenance.
