You're building my ideal watch! Thank you for this video. I was thinking about buying a SSK021 because I love the two tone look and want a GMT for daily wear, but I was hesitant to get one until I could source a two tone bracelet. You resolved my concern with the links on this video.
Yes the SKX007 two tone bracelet like the W&S one shown works fine with the original SSK springbars, a little looser than SKX fit but still well worth it for this one

Everyone says Seiko bracelets are terrible; I find them really comfortable.
Really like what you did here! Wish you could mod one for me keeping the original bezel but changing the glass, crown, and bracelet. Wish Seiko did it from the get go

Realistically I actually do use the three time zones on my SSK005 😅 Main hands set to my local time here in Australia, I’m a massive UK football fan so I use the internal 24 hour track with the GMT hand for London time, and I make a lot of purchases through businesses that operate on US pacific time, so external bezel is aligned to give me the time in LA.

The watch on your wrist is so beautiful, may I ask what size your wrist is?
7.75 inch or 18.5cm - I usually mention it as it’s a bigger wrist than most

This is would run around $760USD with worldwide shipping, but it depends on each specific order really, best to enquire and I can get an accurate cost - this is a bit higher due to the difficulty in getting the base watch in Dubai
Just came home from vacation in the states, (I’m located in Denmark, and this model won’t release here, so bought it as a memory of my trip to NYC) been looking at it, since I’ve ordered the trip 😅
But now I need that two tone bracelet, should/can I use the existing spring bars from the bracelet the watch came with, or should I choose the fat spring bars, or the spring bar for SRPD/SSK with the two tone bracelet from Watchandstyle? 😊
Either the SRPD/SSK spring bars from Watch&Style or the ones on the standard watch will work fine

@@svkwatches Thank you very much for the info! Interestingly enough, when I compared the photos of both, I noticed that the gold painted numbering on the namoki version is not as clean as the DLW. Again it could be just the photos but for a peace of mind I went with the DLW one as well.
An auxiliary question, can you confirm that the bezel you chose for this build is R1422 SSK Rotating Bezel Sub Style? Do you know if there is an identical bezel but with clicks?

I bought this one but when i move the bezel i dont hear any sound is it fake?
No that’s standard on all SSK models - they just have smooth action bezels
