      @@mrgrimm53Alcaraz and Djokovic just played a 3 hour match of very high quality. That's longer than many slam matches. Djokovic won two tie breaks, rather convincingly.
      To press your claim on a grand slam technicality makes you seem disingenuous.
      Djokovic essentially showed he still could win against Alcaraz and Sinner, which should be impossible considering he's ...3-4 generations ahead of them.

    • @mrgrimm53
      @mrgrimm53 3 месяца назад

      @@DLH-zw3lx It depends on the surface they are playing on. Gravel is always slow-paced and usually takes a really long time. But I already said in another response that I guess I was wrong. Djokovic has made Alcaraz better by setting the bar, now Alcaraz is pushing him. These two are both awesome. But Alcaraz has to keep doing this with people targeting him more now. Coaches will be watching film and other players will be working harder to figure out what they can do to beat him. The future of tennis bright
    But Novak will always be my favorite.

    • @sergioroquette5317
      @sergioroquette5317 4 месяца назад

      Yes but Alcaraz has something very hard to combat : his athleticism. He doesn't give up, whatever the court is clay, grass, hard.

      @@sergioroquette5317 he is definitely a freak athlete. I guess I still think young Djokovic vs Nadal in some of the past majors were the highest level of tennis I’ve seen. Just my opinion. But Alcaraz is definitely the man to beat right now. Djokovic is slowing down but I still like Sinner’s game to get better in the future. Some of these young guys will find ways to beat Alcaraz. Players have bad years in tennis, it’s not easy to be at the top of your game every single major. 20 more major titles is still a long ways away

      Sadly, I completely disagree. Alcaraz' tennis intelligence is definitely higher than that of Nole, regardless of age difference or difference in physique. In fact, if I assess critically, there's only one player who I think can beat Alcaraz COMFORTABLY if he brings his A-game on any surface, that's Federer, the master, in his prime. Alcaraz is too complete, too varied in his shots, too tactical. His tennis IQ is definitely light years ahead of his training or any one's. The other young guns just try to overpower and be ultra aggressive. Alcaraz does it but very circumspectly and unpredictably. He's too good. He essentially punishes his opponents by mixing varied shots between attacking and defending. That is psychologically too much to deal with. He reminds me of Musiala, Jude Bellingham or Lamine Yamal. You see these types of talents are more than likely not pretenders. They can overwhelm and they'll always be there

      Alcaraz beat him in back to back Wimbledon finals this could well be the changing of the guard. If Alcaraz and Sinner both stay healthy in the next couple of years it's gonna be harder for Novak to win majors unless he can stay fit and healthy in 2025 who knows maybe he will have a great US open the last major of the year.

    In my opinion, Unless he continues to get favourable draws like the 24 Wimbledon, 23 us n Wimbledon s & AO open- he has little chance to add one more major ever
