    20:39 I've made many AN hoses at work. Learned once the hose bottoms in fitting loosen hose or fitting 1/2 turn, makes it easier to install the fitting. Reason you back off hose end/fitting is the hose end can get squeezed closing off the hose a little bit making installing the AN fitting harder.
    27:04 A song for you that can be found on the internet "Junk food junkie".

    Shouldn't need rubber line between pump and carb. They are both attached to the engine, no flex. Factory had all solid. Much neater with out the rubber.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  3 месяца назад

      True. But John’s engine was set up with a barbed fitting on the carburetor already. I know I could change it out for a hard line fitting, but that requires order more parts, waiting for them and of course having to pay more shipping and import taxes.
      The rubber section also makes it way easier to remove and install the carburetor for servicing.

    I always put a rag in the intake so bolts don't fall in there! And I seen you pull of that adapter and seen the bolts fall !

      None of them went down the intake though. It was fine.

      Oh man I have no idea haha. I listen to 10-12 hours of music a day and unfortunately don’t have the memory to retain what I was listening to on an exact particular day.
      I know the section that got muted out when I was installing the carburetor was Talking Heads. RUclips had to mute that section to avoid having to pay royalties to the Talking Heads.
      On another note, I could not hear another talking heads song in my life and be totally okay with that.

    You're going to have to run your brake lines to a proportioning valve you're going to have way too much front brake

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  3 месяца назад

      In theory you may be correct, but personally I’ve found in the real world these master cylinder’s work great out of the box with no need for a proportioning valve. In my opinion it’s just an extra expense and creates two more potential leaks in the system.
      If this truck was being built for road racing and was doing lots of extreme braking, then yes you’d want to dial it in for optimal brake bias.
      But for a street car, that will never experience high speed braking, or aggressive driving for long lengths of time, this set up works totally great as is.
