Hello Lee. First off I hope you don’t mind I was going to purchase some t shirts for my grandsons for the new season. But I’m going to direct this money to piero as I think he will need some help. Check out mad fabricators. Any way the order will still be made at the end of the month. (Did you ever sell those cortina brake pads?) I like your old trolley jack mine needs a good service. Looking forwards to the c notch. Another very well explained technique on installing a four bar suspension. Cheers to you and yours. Tim.
Fantastic job Lee! That's the kind of content that makes me watch all of your videos, i really enjoyed it thank you. I'm just learning a lot from videos like that, hope i can aply all that information some day in my own cars.
Great video.. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you..... For the simplified pinion angle explanation....... Your videos are always entertaining and educational......
Another good show Lee! You somehow make a hard job look easy. Hopefully little Lux does not have run of the shop yet, but when he does I am worried about that low hanging saw blade on the saw/ work table...got 2 great grandsons so maybe paranoid about little fellows getting hurt..
Great video. I'm doing my Merc the same. I'd recommend a diagonal panhard from the front parallel to the rear opposite. It reduces the side to side radius. Of course you're probably already ahead of my comment.
Haha I can sell you some of the parts, but I’m not geared up yet to sell a whole kit. Shoot me an email and we can talk more about it. Lgspeedkustom at Gmail dot com.
This is great, I just tend to keep things simple with factory settings, all because I am just to lazy to do the work. But I do love viewing and learning.
Once again - very nice work and informative video. I just picked myself up a sweet and mint '35-'40 Ford frame - gonna start to working that frame into accepting a T5, 8-8.5 Diff with Parallel Leaf Springs with sway bar, open driveshaft all to accept my flathead... one day! Making slow progress on my coupe every week. Next week it's finishing the cooling system and readying it for it's second start and hopefully, no water leaks - fingers crossed!
@@LGKustoms yes I did but, that's an easy recovery. I avoided doing the T5 conversion because of the general inconvenience of having the coach on the frame vs just a frame on jacks. Once I get the car road worthy I'll winter store the car in a friends garage while I begin the work on the newly acquired frame.
noticed your shop walls , are you interested in collectable vintage posters , gone in 60 sec merc (signed) , 3 ft x 5 ft car craft cover , larry watson - steve stanford (signed) and much more ?
interesting logic on the pinion angle, most everyone else always makes that 3 degree point, this makes total sense to match the pinion to the motor angle!
You make everything seem so simple and uncomplicated. That's the mark of a good engineer and not many people have that talent. Excellent! Congratulations. No wonder your shop is so busy.
Cool stuff brother. Thanks for sharing
Great video! Nice explanation of your process and thinking! Go LGKustoms, keep moving forward!
Great video. Answered a lot of questions . My Saturday is complete. Thanks

Dude!!! Great video!!! I always learn something new from all your videos!!! Other then a hole going no where!!! Lol!!!✌️

If there is one thing I’ve learned on the internet, it’s people really like to overthink pinion angles haha
Great stuff again Lee, look foreward to the next episode. Well done!!
Thanks again!
New subscriber, love your channel dude
Thanks! Appreciate it
Awesomeness 👍
Looks great!! I have a question on your CNC. What Cad program are you using to design with? Thank you in advance.
Fusion 360
good show 😎👍

Panhard bar is in next weeks video!
LG!!!!!!!!!!
I like the way you did the 4 link , that the easiest way l have seen an the pinion angle made easy Great Job
Simple and effective
You knocked it out of the park on your fabrication I also like your music
Thabks

Thank you! Cheers!
Nicely done Lee , I love how you add some artistic style to your work (starbursts and such). You’re one smart cookie 👍🏻
You have to add style! Style is what separates these cars from the soulless grey and silver blobs people drive these days.
@@LGKustoms I couldn’t agree more
Sell me that kit for my 54 merc.

I want to do this on my 53 shoebox
Do it!
@@LGKustoms I have to finish my model a and square body first! The 53 is too good of a car to take apart right now
Very well done, much, much thanx. take care
Many thanks!
that tablesaw sure is coming in handy
I actually used it twice this week to cut wood!

Didn’t you just spend a bunch of time and money rebuilding your three speed?

Thanks for another great video
Pan hard bar?
Novaholisgasser. Will be fitted after the c notch is fitted. To stop side to side movement of the axle. Hope I was helpful cheers.
Pan hard bar!
Hello,
Hugs from Brasil.
Excellent video. Good explaining of proper setup. I wish I had your shop equipment...lol
Thanks so much
Very nicely done, excellent fabrication skills. 💯🆒
Thanks!

Thanks. Appreciate that.
Been looking forward to this since i saw you post this project on instagram, so cool. Love the variety on your channel you can do it all so well
Awesome! Thank you!
Heck yeah👍
can't read a green screen
I’m not sure what you mean
I think he is referring to: not being able to see the screen on the angle finder when you were running it through it's range of motion
Awesome your videos are always excellent 👍
Thank you
Nice work with the 4 link!
My wild guess is that the 8" rear end is from V8 Maverick?
I’m not sure. I’d assume so too. It was already in the car when Steve brought it over
@@LGKustoms I got one of those on my shoebox. It was a real pain in the butt to find over 10 yrs ago, i wonder how hard it is at now.
why don,t you use a watts link
I cover panhard bar vs watts link in the next video coming out Saturday.
