You are awesome Lee, I only wish I had a Hot Rod, so I could bring it to you and have you work on it....great job as always, and thanks for another great video Lee....:-) Mike Lacey Wa.
Thought I'd stop by and see what ya had cookin - and boy am I glad I did! I love the smell of new carpet. As Mr. Lamas would say - "That looks marvelous"!
I always enjoy your interior and suspension work. A high standard indeed. Also you mentioned how the coupe started as a 4 banger, to a flathead and finally a V6. Great choice 'coz in doing so the coupe can handle long distance and city driving reliabley. I would go one step further and spec a BMW straight 6 for a better weight to power ratio. I hope you can appreciate I took a break from listening to The Anti-Nowhere-League for this video.
England v Brazil v lgspeedandkustom. There’s only one winner. Thanks for the in depth explanation and the how too’s Lee. I did have ago at covering a sofa I got but the result wasn’t very good. I think it was my measurements, more than the sewing. Although it’s my first attempt I will not give up. I need more practice like you said. I’m hoping to get good enough to do my own interior. Black with gold diamonds. There was a couple of roadsters built over here with black silver flake diamonds. Any way you Shannon lux and Jim take care and all the very best wishes. Thanks.
Another great video Lee. Makes me wish sometimes I lived on the island so I could visit and maybe get a few things done on a couple of my cars. See you at the swap meet!
As always I learned about putting carpet/sound deadning which I was unaware as to how it keeps the noise out. Oh, and the pointy thingey is called an "awl" (pronounced all) Thanks for the great info.

Old School networking is alive and well! We don't necessarily need facebook to do the job. Nice little 5 Window.

Great video as always! My friend has a '76 Vette that she needs to make rear carpet panels for and now I can pass your knowledge on to her. Thx loads!
Perfect
Excellent job Lee!
Thank you! Cheers!
Carpet looks great !
It truly is one of the best finishing touches that someone can do to their car
And a proper carpet job really makes a car so much more comfortable to drive.
@@LGKustoms I’ve had crappy cars with good interior and you forget how awful the rest of it is lol
A lot of cool tips and ticks love your channel 👍
Thanks so much!

Well in case you didn’t know, there is a ferry that comes here every hour haha. I’m working on a car right now for a guy from New West.

Very nice work on those carpets Lee ..Love that little A model!
It’s a great car
The pookie thing is called a awl.
Looks great. Those blue seats have to go
Nice job Lee, looks great!
I remember that car.
Hello Lee. Serious question. Apparently weld wood glue is illegal in Canada. How do you have it available in bc?
I buy it from KB Fabrics in Surrey BC
As always I learned about putting carpet/sound deadning which I was unaware as to how it keeps the noise out. Oh, and the pointy thingey is called an "awl" (pronounced all) Thanks for the great info.
The underlay is the magic when it comes to comfort and suppressing road noise
Some good trips on how to make the carpet. I'm going to use them on my 78 van. Thanks for sharing the info.
Awesome!
What’s with the blue velvet seats 😂😂 I guess that’s your next job 😎
The seats have not been reupholstered yet. Rob’s building this car on a budget, so seats will probably happen sometime in the future.
I have to ask is Rob color blind or maybe Mexican? Very nice job Lee!
Thanks. Although I’m not sure I get the color blind reference…
What was the paint color on the 33 Ford pickup I love it
Ford Washington Blue
What a clean look that carpet has! Beautiful work, Lee.👍
Thanks
You have any idea what the seats came out of? Nice job.
No idea. Robb got them for free years ago.
😳😳😳😳. All that wiring stuffed under the cowl. Should’ve kept the flatty or at least put a small block in it.
Carpet is 👌🏼 though.
Yea I’m not sure who wired the car, but I don’t think they owned side cutters.
@@LGKustomswhat size thread is used on the edging.
Lee does not approve of that firewall, lol
Hahahaha
