For the cardboard ridges on the helmet you can paint 3-4 coats of pva glue watler soluble, then when that's dry apply 2 coats of 2 part epoxy resin leave to dry the your cardboard helmet will have a plastic coating

I'm totally getting ahold of the templates for this, I can make the helmet my friend has always wanted.

Hi, love the builds you've done so far! Have you ever considered resining outside/inside,fibreglassing the inside, then bondo outside to decrease by smoothening the ridges? I know there is alot of sanding involved, but then you could also cast or finish them, if you've never heard of it, I highly recommend it!
For the indention to the transition of the back of the helmet, is the insert piece on the template or do I need to manually create an indent inward? Also very nice job on the template and build, so far I got mine to look great and will definitely be giving you 5/5 stars on Etsy
Will you make Phase 2 Clone Trooper armor and templates in Star Wars the Clone Wars style? because the movie style is cool, but the clone wars style is better in my opinion. good luck in the future projects.
I love the idea and template but for me personally the video is extremely difficult to understand. I’m just not very good with Timelapse’s as everything happens so quickly. So at the moment I’ve had to retry at least 3 times as something just looks very off in what I’m building…
