Maybe the main reasons that Sunny looks angry when disgusted is that it probably has smth to do with Mari. Maybe she would be angry when she was disgusted, since she was a bit of a perfectionist. Maybe Sunny took that emotion for himself.
FUN FACT: This is the first OMORI video I watched, and this was when I knew nothing about the characters and plot. So, I assumed that the mod emotions were actually in the game, but looking back I am now a bit sad these emotions aren't in the original. REAL WORLD emotions are so good! I like how SUNNY only feels the first stage of emotion. And for original three emotions, only KEL can feel MANIC, only AUBREY can feel FURIOUS, and only HERO can feel MISERABLE. It's a nice touch since it fits their character the most after MARI's death; KEL moved on and kept most of his cheery self, HERO just became sad, and AUBREY became a delinquent and quite mad.

For example, Kel is happy, Aubrey is angry, and Hero is sad, and only Kel can become manic in the real world- only Aubrey can become furious in the real world and only Hero can become miserable in the real world aswell. it's a nice detail, even if it's easy to notice.

Im assuming its because in the real world Aubrey is “the angry one”, Kel is the only one who can move on, and Hero is stuck in a depressive episode everyday of his life. I feel like no one mentioned this but Aubrey has 3 anger levels, Kel has 3 joy levels, and Hero has 3 sadness levels. Im assuming its because in the real world Aubrey is “the angry one”, Kel is the only one who can move on, and Hero is stuck in a depressive episode everyday of his life. So even in headspace what they are feeling matches their personas
