Thanks for this. Some tips i wanna add: ALWAYS USE KEL to give healing items. Hes often the one acting first. Have Hero do Snack time as a fail safe because Perfectheart often attacks after Kel.
Everyone will always go once a round, so having Kel heal is ill advised. Hero, the healer, will 100% of the time use an item after Perfect attacks... meaning if you use an item on your entire party the entire party will ALWAYS be healed before Perfect attacks again unlike with Kel. Also Kel is a damage dealer and is better as a second/emergency healer due to his speed.

The thing with perfectheart is that if anybody dies, you’re basically screwed unless you’re still in the first phase. Having to recover a member mid-fight is arguably harder than beating the boss toastless in my opinion.
To add to that, the strat of the battle is to keep everybody at full health as much as possible. Use Kel to spam whole chickens the whole fight, and use snack time for Hero. Omori and Aubrey are the only ones you want to actually fight. Occasionally have Aubrey use melon smoothies to regenerate juice. You can always use Omori and Aubrey to heal too, but only if you absolutely need to heal a third time. Use Omori’s skills gained from all 3 somethings to lower the defense, attack, and especially the speed of Perfectheart. They’re highly recommended to win!!!
this would be good advice for anyone who isnt pro gamer like me. spamming aubrey’s last resort is simple to manage, really. you probably werent born with the same amount of genius as i was, but you arent at fault. 🥱

For a cheesy way to beat her go to the boss rush room and buy like 100-200 whole chickens then have everyone other than Omori on healing duty (and juicing when needed)
This is actually very possible and not that “difficult” there are common strategies but really there are many ways to achieve this, however the best one being using kel as a healer preround because he is faster, Omori as a debuffer and attacker, and Aubrey and hero can be used to replenish juice, attack, or do other necessary things. It’s definitely not simple but going toastless is very achievable especially at Max level with omori’s endgame skills. Very intense fight but surprisingly not super frustrating and very fun and exciting. Great music as always, looking forward to seeing what Omocat puts out there in the future!
I beat her not long ago and my biggest tip is to lower her speed and use Kel to heal, omori and aubrey to attack and hero to either lower some of her stats or heal juice. Also bring lots of whole pizzas and whole chickens!
So I know that a lot of people don't like Perfectheart because it's hard to figure out what she's really thinking (i.e. manipulation mindset and how her expression never changes throughout the emotion statuses) and she's "perfect" and stuff, but I genuinely like her- she has a really cool design, she actually warns you that she's going to fight you unlike pretty much every other boss, and her theme slaps 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥, plus she actually accepts that she lost despite being able to shoot 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴 that could definitely kill people if she wanted them to.

If anyone wants to know the strat for perfectheart is to buy a bunch of whole chickens from the boss rush minigame in Molly's room and use hero and aubrey to heal the entire party with them every turn in second phase. You can accomplish this before perfectheart ever attacks just by using cripple on her one time, making her slower than your entire party. after that you can just spam red hands with omori and use tickle with kel and finish her off in like five or six turns.
When the npc's or game ask you "Are you sure to fight ?" or some kinda like that... You know that epic battle is finally going to happen + when pre-battle theme is played
Very impressive! I beat her toastless on my first ever attempt while knowing nothing about the fight going in at level 34 by abusing Omori's OBSERVE + Hero's COOK and using Kel Nukes while she was angry. Two nukes rendered her at low enough Heart that Aubrey took her out with Beatdown even through an emotional disadvantage, immediately after the first Angelic Wrath. OBSERVE was important because it meant the only thing she could do in phase 1 was Steal Heart, which I could reliably outheal with COOK, no matter who she targeted. I used the Nukes because everyone was saying how hard she was and how tanky she was, so I expected she would take many nukes to take out. I was wrong. She took fewer nukes than Humphrey. It was so much easier than I expected that I thought she was about to fake out Phase 2 me. So I loaded the save I made before the fight, because it felt like I had cheesed her and missed out on a good fight. I actually had more trouble the Unbread Twins at level 30 on One Day Left. Granted, I didn't Nuke the Twins, but they wouldn't even let me if I wanted to. They kept taking out Kel in one hit even when Kel was Ecstatic and they were Angry, or when they were Sad and Kel was Enraged. They also did the same to Aubrey. So now in my eyes, One Day Left Unbread Twins will forever be the real Superboss (even if they may be statistically weaker). 5:59 WAIT WHAT SHE DIDN'T DO THIS FOR ME SHE JUST TOOK THE SECOND NUKE, DID ANGELIC WRATH, AND THEN DIED FROM BEATDOWN. SHE DIDN'T HEAL AT ALL. I DID CHEESE HER. I SKIPPED PHASE 2 PROPER.

In general this fight isn’t as hard as it is made out to be. Its all about speed. First. Make sure you beat and spare ABBI and get all her tentacle items. After that. Load up on whole chickens from the boss rush store and maybe even get dino dig healing items. Then the most important part is the COFFEE. This is the best way to outspeed perfectheart with almost every party member. In my fight I had gave OMORI the cough mask so that he could outspeed perfect heart if I gave him a snowcone. I ended up almost never going below half hp for any character and finished the fight in about 3-4 turns after entering phase 2
Comparing this battle to other ones I’ve seen online, this person battles a lot slower, but also has no deaths. I just find that Interesting. I wonder what a speed run of this fight specifically would look like.

There's something I realised when I heard about the different emotions you can use in fights They're the real life responses all the characters had when Mari died
Actually they really do, aubrey was probably angry that it seemed like everyone had moved on, hero was depressed, sunny is afraid to face the truth, maybe kel is happy as he moved on from the situation the fastest and seems the least emotionally hurt?
@@smilesnack9482 the emotions parallel the emotions on the emotion chart headspace hero made. sunny is NEUTRAL as he suppressed all his emotions, while it's implied that basil is AFRAID as he's missing from the chart, as is afraid and what does that make mari? TOAST!
I tried to beat her without Abbi’s items on my second hikikomori playthrough and lost like 8 times. Guess I gotta go all over the map to get the other keys so I can enter the abyss.
Just some tips as well, during the first phase, since it's still pretty easy, decrease her speed first (1 cripple is probably enough for the team to outspeed her), then debuff the hell out of her using their skills or items, then keep attacking. I also used snow cones on all of them. Second phase, she's buffed even more but Kel still outspeeds her (kel mvp) so have Kel use jacks to lower her speed then use Omori's cripple. This makes Aubrey and Hero outspeed Perfectheart so they could heal the team. Then basically I debuffed her again, used Kel and Hero to heal, sometimes Aubrey too, then obviously Omori is the main damage dealer (red hands is op. You could use attack again/ultimate attack if juice runs out). Also I used two more snow cones on Omori just to buff him more. Then that's it, toastless run lol
When you were using all those defense lowering attacks I thought you were setting up a nuke. Then I saw the video length. Props for not taking the easy way.
3:01 I have to ask Are you actually insane Sorry to nerd out, but... just... Okay here we go. Perfectheart has, like... ONE attack that actually uses her Attack stat. She has: Steal Heart (Drain HP) Let Live (Set enemy HP to 1, or if HP is 1 deal 1 damage) Take Breath Away (Drain Juice) And maybe a fourth attack I don't remember And in Phase 2, every time you heal she spams the 75% damage attack. (Seriously tho could it not be an alternating 71% and 72% to create a 143% of hp as damage over two turns? I digress...) Why does this matter? Well let's ask a question here. We know this means that, if the party is made Angry, they'll only take more damage from that one attack. As such, their lowered Defenses don't matter most of the time, correct? Sure, maybe so... But why not make Perfectheart Angry instead? Angry > Sad is a very weak advantage. The Sad foe takes approximately 20% more damage due to the Atk buff and Super Effective multiplier's support, but only 20% due to the Defense buff that cancels out the Atk buff, as well as the Damage To Juice mechanic absolutely SLASHING the damage taken. It's not much of a boost. Now, if the one who is Angry is Enraged or Furious, that's the best way to beat a Sad foe, if they cannot be switched off of Sad, that is. Sad opponents also give less EXP and $ after battles, with the exception of the Unbread Twins, making grinding harder for those who use this tactic. Happy > Angry shouldn't be that much better, right? After all, they're both emotional advantages and Happy's accuracy debuff must come into play a lot, right? You'd be surprised. Angry foes have lowered Defenses, which would REALLY matter here, heightened Attack, which Perfectheart barely uses as we've established... And this means that they take the full brunt of the Emotional Advantage weakness, can GET CRIT, which does NOT ignore the defense debuff, this isn't Pokemon, AND can only hit back about as hard as they normally could if they were Neutral. Upsides: No resistance to the absolute shredding you finna give them, also you're faster which makes Vertigo do more damage Downsides: You miss like... one hit of your Red Hands attack every other turn, or two if you're unlucky, when you already hit like you've used 3 uses of Red Hands over 2 turns. 4:28 And you do it again... Why does this matter if you've won anyways? Fair enough good point
Not too sure if it's possible without omori's skills from the library. These skills do the most damage and debuff the boss the best (cripple for the speed decrease)

Two nukes rendered her at low enough Heart that Aubrey took her out with Beatdown even through an emotional disadvantage, immediately after the first Angelic Wrath.
OBSERVE was important because it meant the only thing she could do in phase 1 was Steal Heart, which I could reliably outheal with COOK, no matter who she targeted.
I used the Nukes because everyone was saying how hard she was and how tanky she was, so I expected she would take many nukes to take out.
I was wrong. She took fewer nukes than Humphrey.
It was so much easier than I expected that I thought she was about to fake out Phase 2 me.
So I loaded the save I made before the fight, because it felt like I had cheesed her and missed out on a good fight.
I actually had more trouble the Unbread Twins at level 30 on One Day Left.
Granted, I didn't Nuke the Twins, but they wouldn't even let me if I wanted to. They kept taking out Kel in one hit even when Kel was Ecstatic and they were Angry, or when they were Sad and Kel was Enraged.
They also did the same to Aubrey.
So now in my eyes, One Day Left Unbread Twins will forever be the real Superboss (even if they may be statistically weaker).

In general this fight isn’t as hard as it is made out to be. Its all about speed.
First. Make sure you beat and spare ABBI and get all her tentacle items.
After that. Load up on whole chickens from the boss rush store and maybe even get dino dig healing items. Then the most important part is the COFFEE. This is the best way to outspeed perfectheart with almost every party member. In my fight I had gave OMORI the cough mask so that he could outspeed perfect heart if I gave him a snowcone. I ended up almost never going below half hp for any character and finished the fight in about 3-4 turns after entering phase 2
Comparing this battle to other ones I’ve seen online, this person battles a lot slower, but also has no deaths. I just find that Interesting.
I wonder what a speed run of this fight specifically would look like.

There's something I realised when I heard about the different emotions you can use in fights
They're the real life responses all the characters had when Mari died
Actually they really do, aubrey was probably angry that it seemed like everyone had moved on, hero was depressed, sunny is afraid to face the truth, maybe kel is happy as he moved on from the situation the fastest and seems the least emotionally hurt?

@@smilesnack9482 the emotions parallel the emotions on the emotion chart headspace hero made. sunny is NEUTRAL as he suppressed all his emotions, while it's implied that basil is AFRAID as he's missing from the chart, as is afraid

I tried to beat her without Abbi’s items on my second hikikomori playthrough and lost like 8 times. Guess I gotta go all over the map to get the other keys so I can enter the abyss.
Just some tips as well, during the first phase, since it's still pretty easy, decrease her speed first (1 cripple is probably enough for the team to outspeed her), then debuff the hell out of her using their skills or items, then keep attacking. I also used snow cones on all of them. Second phase, she's buffed even more but Kel still outspeeds her (kel mvp) so have Kel use jacks to lower her speed then use Omori's cripple. This makes Aubrey and Hero outspeed Perfectheart so they could heal the team. Then basically I debuffed her again, used Kel and Hero to heal, sometimes Aubrey too, then obviously Omori is the main damage dealer (red hands is op. You could use attack again/ultimate attack if juice runs out). Also I used two more snow cones on Omori just to buff him more. Then that's it, toastless run lol
When you were using all those defense lowering attacks I thought you were setting up a nuke. Then I saw the video length. Props for not taking the easy way.

Sorry to nerd out, but... just...
Okay here we go.
Perfectheart has, like... ONE attack that actually uses her Attack stat.
She has:
Steal Heart (Drain HP)
Let Live (Set enemy HP to 1, or if HP is 1 deal 1 damage)
Take Breath Away (Drain Juice)
And maybe a fourth attack I don't remember
And in Phase 2, every time you heal she spams the 75% damage attack. (Seriously tho could it not be an alternating 71% and 72% to create a 143% of hp as damage over two turns? I digress...)
Why does this matter?
Well let's ask a question here.
We know this means that, if the party is made Angry, they'll only take more damage from that one attack. As such, their lowered Defenses don't matter most of the time, correct? Sure, maybe so...
But why not make Perfectheart Angry instead?
Angry > Sad is a very weak advantage. The Sad foe takes approximately 20% more damage due to the Atk buff and Super Effective multiplier's support, but only 20% due to the Defense buff that cancels out the Atk buff, as well as the Damage To Juice mechanic absolutely SLASHING the damage taken. It's not much of a boost. Now, if the one who is Angry is Enraged or Furious, that's the best way to beat a Sad foe, if they cannot be switched off of Sad, that is.
Sad opponents also give less EXP and $ after battles, with the exception of the Unbread Twins, making grinding harder for those who use this tactic.
Happy > Angry shouldn't be that much better, right? After all, they're both emotional advantages and Happy's accuracy debuff must come into play a lot, right?
You'd be surprised.
Angry foes have lowered Defenses, which would REALLY matter here, heightened Attack, which Perfectheart barely uses as we've established...
And this means that they take the full brunt of the Emotional Advantage weakness, can GET CRIT, which does NOT ignore the defense debuff, this isn't Pokemon, AND can only hit back about as hard as they normally could if they were Neutral.
Upsides: No resistance to the absolute shredding you finna give them, also you're faster which makes Vertigo do more damage
Downsides: You miss like... one hit of your Red Hands attack every other turn, or two if you're unlucky, when you already hit like you've used 3 uses of Red Hands over 2 turns.

Not too sure if it's possible without omori's skills from the library. These skills do the most damage and debuff the boss the best (cripple for the speed decrease)

you can steam roll this fight with chickenball coffee kel with run n gun with flex as well as coffee omori with vertigo. I finished it in 4 turns
