Vince Gill is my favorite singer and has been for probably at least 30 years. And the Eagles is my favorite band. So the two of them combined is like Nirvana for me. However, this Sting / Vince Gill performance is right up there with the best. What emotion!

@@jandavis3525 I just happened to be reading an article (when I saw your reply) on how Vince admitted how he has to show restraint as a guitarist when playing live with the Eagles, and to leave the lead guitar to Joe and the other guy who replaced Don F. Absolutely, Vince is just incredible!

ONE of those singers and instrumentalists alone would have made that song awesome (in itself already an awesome song) ... but that combination is beyond awesome. Don't know what gives me more goosebumps ... Vince and Sting's vocals, Vince's guitar solo, Paul Frankin's steel ... or the whole ensemble playing together.

One of the best renditions of this song that I have heard. Great "chemistry" between Vince and Sting and the band is excellent. Oh, and that Stratocaster sounds to me the way that a strat should sound.
