Wouldn’t have Uncle Ben still died? After all it was is inaction that caused Uncle Ben’s death. Also, it was that lesson that caused Peter to become a hero. He actually started out pretty selfish. It was the guilt of Uncle Ben’s death that lead him to become a hero not his benevolence. Even if that didn’t happen why would he take up the mantle of hero? He was bullied most of his life. If anything I would think he would be a little vengeful. Maybe he feels entitled to some justice. It just seems to me it would’ve turn the other way more likely.
