I had an MRI done because I was in an accident. The chiropractor that sent me over for it went over the results regarding my back. I get home and read over the entire thing as well as sent it to my mom so she could do the same thing. That's when we found the word myelofibrosis in the MRI report. We have been worried and freaking out ever since reading it.
My Granddaddy had something wrong with him that was myelo (can't remember what exactly he had off the top of my head), he couldn't do the chemo due to medical reasons and because of that, he wound up with AML and eventually passed away.
I am currently 35 with a 4yo son and seeing that on the MRI has me worried that I won't be around for him to grow up 😢😢😢 I have to make an appointment with a pcp so that I can follow up with what we read. I'm trying not to worry or stress until I get the confirmation from the dr BUT that's easier said than done. I wind up thinking about it randomly and become anxious and stressed as well as I start getting depressed...
Has anyone else gone through this or a loved one to where you can share the experience or what you learned about this???

      Hello,
First of all, we hope your fears prove to be unfounded. If you're harboring such suspicions, it is crucial to promptly contact your medical doctor and complete the necessary tests. Do not let your fears overtake reality. If the tests confirm your suspicions, your life will undoubtedly change compared to before. You may face many challenges. Do not hesitate to seek support from professionals and loved ones. Although this situation is difficult, despair only makes things harder, while maintaining hope can facilitate the resolution of some problems. Remember, we are here for you.
Our process for patients diagnosed with cancer is as follows: Patients fill out a form on our website(massivebio.com/myelofibrosis-cancer-clinical-trial-jak2-splenomegaly/), granting us permission to contact them. Then, our specialists reach out to inform them about the process. Additionally, patients who share their information and test results with us enable our AI-based system to swiftly find the most suitable clinical trial for them. Once a clinical trial is identified, our system facilitates the necessary arrangements and communication between doctors. All information about the clinical trial and the patient's journey is also shared with their own doctor.
Lastly, I recommend you listen to this podcast: ruclips.net/video/fSFgvTkRcf4/видео.html.
We hope everything turns out as you wish.

My mother has been diagnosed with myelofibrosis
She is in Auckland New Zealand. Would moving to another country with specialists in this field be a good option?

How long will it take to get these clinically trialled drugs be available
And is it possible to get access to these drugs through a trial?
