It's amazing how differently I think of this song as I grow older. It's usage in Deadpool 2 really marked a turning point from it being a fast pop song into a beautiful ballad.
Good observation. A lot of music that sounds great in its original speed, whether fast or slow, can sound just as great but very different at very different speeds and with different instruments. You can actually hear a couple popular 80s and 90s songs played in very different ways inside the video game BioShock infinite. Don’t assume I am recommending the game. I don’t really like it. But music in it is great.

Hey, there's no mistake in tabs, I just tune my guitar whole step down (which is also always indicated in tabs), thus the confusion. But if one doesn't want to tune guitar lower then yes, just have capo two frets lower.

No worries, I pretty much adopted whole step down as my standard tuning on steel string and people always get confused by what they hear vs. what they see when learning my arrangements :)
Sorry to ask, but which guitar is that? I usually play electric guitar and bought an acoustic because it sounds more beautiful, but the acoustic guitar I bought isn't good, hammer-on's and sliding is very hard and bending is impossible.
My arrangement is not related to the game really, I've recorded this and was going to upload it months ago but it got delayed due to issues with RUclips (long story). Then I finally uploaded it and a day or two later saw that scene from the game in my recommendations.

Just a heads up! If you download the tabs, the capo goes on the 2nd fret, not the 4th (the tabs say it goes on the 4th)

Maybe a Taylor? I used a Taylor and with a capo it sounds like this but yeah it’s harder to play acoustic than electric
