both surfers are absolutely ripping i nthis video i believe that jordys carves are brilliant and his directional change in his turns is phenomenal slaters snaps and releases his fins alot more but jordys carves are beautiful to watch anyone who says jordy will be lucky to requalify is kidding themselves
My name is one leg tony for a reason, i was surfing trestles and a great white got my leg, lucky to have my life. I would not reccomend this spot to anyone because of the danger of sharks
You forgot to mention the nuke plant spewing sludge into the water and air 24/7, the cannibals that hide in the bushes on the trail down, the numerous quicksand pits on the beach, the basketball sized sea urchins, and the $100 parking fee.
I watched it again.They are both amazing but one trick ponies on this one.(I saw the rights at pipeline wow)If I never see that reverse ends move again it will be too soon.(It's every ride on this puppy) They need a rail at a school .
Surfing is different than competing bud. Kelly is 15 or more years older too. I'm no facts guy but i believe Kelly had a few titles while Jordy was still in school.
You may want to rethink what you wrote-"I grew up in CA over 30 years." To me it does not sound like you have GROWN up at all. The one good thing abouut RUclips is that cowards can make comments while hidden behind a key board. Go get them killer!
kelly is both smooth and powerful. hard to compare him with a guy who is at least 4" taller and 20 pounds heavier. what's the point? i could see comparing parko and jordy as he was parko's protege and similarly sized. besides what does 'kinky' mean anyways? i think it means you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to pro surfing.
You have to realize Trestles is next to a Marine base and they practice with live rounds all the time. The Marines used us as target practice one day and I got both arms and legs blown off (I'm typing with my eyebrows). So please stay home, don't surf Trestles..too dangerous
how much better in every way is Jordy than Slater? More power, smoother, and more radical. doesn't anyone notice this? Anyone who shit talks is talking about themselves anyway. just ignore it.
