That Manoa Drollet wave is one of the most incredible things i've seen in my life. And i've been surfing for 40 years...with that lip, and the water so shallow over coral,that's just impossible, isn't it?
Is no one up for a challenge these days? The more remote the spot, the bigger the reward! This day at Teahupoo was small and fat! I surfed the next day, it was twice the size and no one was in.
Would someone be so patience to teach me how to ride such a monster? ANYONE lives in SYDNEY or in the surrondingS???? I AM COMING THE NEXT YEAR TO AUSTRALIA, I WILL STAY ON FOR 4 YEARS AT LEAST. SURFERS, TEACH ME!!!! THIS IS MY DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! SPECTACULAR!!!

I think these waves are much harder to surf than Mavericks and Jaws combined. Just the drop! its almost a vertical drop. Being crushed by a 2.5 meter high wave can hurt quite a bit, can't image this shit.
Please explain your dislike of this extraordinary talent, place, tow skill; what exactly is there to dislike? Skateboard 325: depending on tide 2 to 8 feet...what is so amazing is that this wave sucks so much water off the reef that these guys are surfing below seal level. They can not be seen from shore.
u need holding ur breath and dont try to grasp up for not enter to panic its will hurt when the wave will explode on ur head and mybe the surf too.i surfing on Teahupoo but only on 8.5 metter in hawaii i fall and im very scared now to take other Teahupoo
