É realmente hora de comemorar, mas não apaga o fato dos critérios diferenciados para todos contra os brasileiros durante todo o campeonato. Nesta etapa, no primeiro round, Felipe desceu numa onda, injetou três manobras diferentes, finalizou na junção, e recebeu praticamente a mesma nota do outro, que apenas deu três batidas. Felipe is the best surfer in the world in small to medium size waves. The variety, carves, airs are done consistently better than everyone else. Toledo may be the most consistent in conditions like these, and for that well done on winning a WSL world title. Said that I dont like this format of WSL
É realmente hora de comemorar, mas não apaga o fato dos critérios diferenciados para todos contra os brasileiros durante todo o campeonato.
Nesta etapa, no primeiro round, Felipe desceu numa onda, injetou três manobras diferentes, finalizou na junção, e recebeu praticamente a mesma nota do outro, que apenas deu três batidas.
Porque será?? 🤔🤔
Será que os patrocinadores e investidores dos brasileiros, estão valendo menos que dos outros competidores??

Without timestamps it’s impossible to know exactly what waves you’re referring to but yeah, Filipe’s wave was smaller.
A 9.0 is crazy for felipe
Felipe is the best surfer in the world in small to medium size waves. The variety, carves, airs are done consistently better than everyone else. Also, trestles was more fun to watch when all the guys were there to compete, not just 5.

Toledo may be the most consistent in conditions like these, and for that well done on winning a WSL world title.
However, when it comes to the best waves in the world with the best conditions in the world, such as when its 8-10ft and over at Pipe and Chopes and other world class waves, the best surfing in the world is not being done by him. In fact he's often not even in the water.

Filipe is the second best surfer of the world, FIRST? GABRIEL EXTRETERRESTRIAL MEDINA. WSL is terrified of Medina. He should already be at least five times world champion. WSL took him out of the finals. But 2024 will be his year, the year of his fourth title. Against everything and everyone, Medina is the most complete surfer of all time.
One look at a channel like Nathan Florence's clearly proves that without a shadow of a doubt.
It is ok for Toledo to win with aerial manoeuvres. But if he is, it should be actually progressive airs on waves of consequence, like Gabby and John John's airs at pumping pipe, Italo's huge air to dry reef at margs this year, Yago's air at Jbay, or the airs Kael Walsh and Mikey Wright were doing in the latest quick edit at slabs with consequence, to name a few examples. Not safe airs that barely go above the lip. Granted the conditions for these finals didn't allow for much more, however I have yet to see a progressive air by toledo that was huge AND required big commitment AND at a wave of consequence(like Italo's at Margs for example).
Plenty of Brazilians charge(like Gab or Joao), Toledo just lacks courage. Well done on the World Title, no one is as consistent as him in the small conditions. But to say that world title proves he is the best surfer in the world is an absolute fallacy
Medina needs style to even be considered as complete
You're not wrong. Medina looked really good. Kolohe got shafted though vs Medina at Jbay
Ethan killed this event
Best flippity dippitys means Felipe is "world champion" again?! What a joke! WSL should he ashamed with this rediculous format. We need a competing world tour in real barreling waves so a TRUE world champion can emerge please. Like LIV Golf has done for the PGA. Enough of the lame corporate monopoly tour. We want hardcore surfing in real waves!!!
To the ball brakers that still say the title went to brasil, despite all complots etc...are u sure the title didn t stay in california, san clemente?
Aquele 9 do Toledo pareceu demasiado puxado para cima
Toledo is my favourite surfer, but I think Ethan won that 1st heat in my eyes. Both surfers were amazing.
They said before that aerials tricks will had the biggets notes , and filipe doit, EE are a good and mental surfer , but filipe won 2 heats
@NathanFlorence can you please arrange World Slab League as a competitor, it would get 10x more views and revenue than this shit
