I like to have the things I love around me. I had a very pared down home in preparation for selling our home in 2019 before retirement. It sold within one week, but I was stressed and unhappy until I was able to have all the antiques, objet d’art, artwork, etc. around me that I love very much. That’s what makes me happy!

Where do you guys do the ironing? I've noticed that in most homes shown on this channel,the laundry room just has the washing machines but no space to iron.

This woman is great - agree with other comments, I wish she could drop into my home.
Front loaders on the floor quickly makes my already crippled back hurt even more. Putting them on pedestals makes ergonomic sense 🤦♀️

It's from a beautiful florist in Oakville, ON called Fiori Oakville.
Storage place, storage place and more storage place. Why ? What a heaviness ! We utilize only 20% of what we have. Just choose waisly. Space and emptiness are the most beautiful furniture.

Doing laundry is not a chore. You dump something into a hole and let it spin. I don't get out repulsion to doing laundry of all things. It's not like using a knuckle buster.
The chair and the tray for the keyboard look like your back and wrist are going to hurt. Not a good position to have. I really like the lamp in the closet.

I love this design but now i feel like every house or home which i see on youtube look similar like no difference in colour same white grey and green cabinets or other colour will be just blue. I want to see something new now

This is beautiful, well thought-out and lovely to look at. I just can't help but feel a little sad when I watch H&H videos.. it feels like it is full of wealthy individuals with little care for anything remotely sustainable. People care more about the organisation of their walk-in closet than real issues.. Its as though their biggest concern is whether or not they can easily see which shoes pair with which dress, or whether or not they feel 'happy' doing their laundry.. I know this is a very deep comment for H&H haha. I just find it increasingly difficult to tune-in. Perhaps it is a lovely, aesthetic way for people to simply forget about their bigger problems for a while!

I was a bit shocked about the new laundry appliances. Maybe I misinterpreted but throwing out a near new washer and dryer because they smell seems absurd to me.
very basic design. Looks like every pininterst...no creativity, just copy cat. Step out of the "trending" design and do design that YOU really like...not how someone else designed their home, Every home literally now adays looks the same now...every one just copies the trends ie the white kitchen, white walls, barn look etc. very BORING.
When I was a kid every home was designed differently not the same = this was every parent being creative. Shame things have changed with the internet.
