    These were great ideas. Most scrap busters aren't things I'd actually use but you found some really different ones.

    • @AlexandraBurnett
      @AlexandraBurnett  2 года назад +2

      Yes I also found that most scrap busters were things that didn’t make my heart skip a bit so I thought - there’s gotta be more than this! So glad that these ideas resonated with you! Thank you for watching. X

    I use a lot of my scraps for therapeutic pillows- or “cool packs” in my house :)
    I fill them with rice or lentils and keep them in the freezer- they are the perfect temp for kids boo boos 😊

    • @AlexandraBurnett
      @AlexandraBurnett  2 года назад +1

      Ah such a great shout about keeping them in the freezer!!! I also call them "boo boos" and in Romanian we all them buba! so cute!

    So many good ideas. I love the floor and headboard pillows. As well as that organza stuffed with scraps! That's brilliant

    These are fantastic! Outside what I typically see for these videos. I have used my scraps to use as stuffing for pillows and similar projects and add in my thread scraps. I think I will do some things to show them off more! Also, you can use rice in place of cherry pits for the warmers!

    • @AlexandraBurnett
      @AlexandraBurnett  2 года назад +2

      Ah great shout about rice!!! That's even more accessible than cherry pits! Thank you for that!

    I love these ideas! So often I see fabric scrap ideas that just aren’t practical for my life or don’t look modern. Your take on this is so helpful because these are things I would actually use/enjoy!

    I love these ideas. They are different and allow for me to make my own spin on them. I have so much scrap fabric and now thanks to your video I have a lot of new ideas of what to do with them. You can also use dried lentils, rice, beans, and corn in warmers by the way.

    I always keep my scraps especially if the fabric is so nice. Recently I made pj pants for my 3yr old granddaughter but didn’t have enough for a top so I sewed a patch pocket of the fabric to a plain co ordinating colour T shirt to make a match . You can also make pedestrian cheap Ts or other garments unique or pretty and definitely personal with a little added flair 😊 PS I very much enjoyed your video ❤

    I love those ideas, the quilted pieces really inspire me, thanks for sharing!
    On a side note, I don't know if it's from the video or my computer but I felt that the balance between your voice and the music was a bit off. What you were saying was interesting but I was a bit distracted because the music was a bit loud. I don't feel it was as present in your other videos. I loved the video anyway!
