I drive in that area often, a lot of very young children’s of all ages be in and out without parents supervision. Sadly this had to happen know kids cannot be left alone especially crossing nyc street it’s dangerous for any one.
Kids need to be taught how to be street smart. Cross at the green not in between. We ran wild as kids but we knew the rules. Teach your children well. So sad!
That's sad to hear. But if you ever been in that area. You know those Hasidic Jews, basically still walk around like as if it's 1846. And as if it's still horses and dirt roads, instead of cars, bikes and paved roads. Like they have no awareness and then they teach their kids that too. So sad to hear a child was lost, but it's a habit they need to fix up.
Those who drive recklessly don't care about what happens to the other drivers or pedestrians. They feel like they are the best drivers in the world when in reality they r the worst. Respect all the driving laws and signs.

Oh in SmallHat Williamsburg? definitely one of their own that did it......they love to run red lights esp their "ambulances" and school buses.

It's too sad, but they don't respect Traffic lights. They walk like cars and don't have the right to be in the street.
