As Mace S pointed out, Portal will always have people making Vanilla Style BF servers. 2042 is trying to make a fresh change to the game, taking a leap. Saying that this mode is anything like Tarkov or Hunt just because it has extraction mechanics is a fundamental misunderstanding of what those two games are.
It would have been awesome to have seen a Hazard Zone game mode in BF1. That desolate warfare in a WW1 setting. Walking in ruined cities, lost battlefields with dead soldiers and the winners patrolling the area. Even WW2 would be cool in like a giant abandoned Rotterdam level. Sorta like a stealth game mode.
For bf1 id rather a survival mode with better AI. Imagine defending parts of a map from waves of infantry. You could set up barricades, tripmines, etc. Like MW3 survival in a way. You can choose who you play as and who your enemy is. And better weapons become available the higher the round you go Id love to set up defences in the sossions town and just defend against infinite waves of infantry. Being able to have friendly AI too
Yeah but the Hunt showdown ist slow and its very important the sound and footsteps… i dont think that will go good because is too fast and honestly i play the beta and i dont know for you but i barely hear all those footsteps

This game will play nothing like hunt. It just has somewhat of the same concept as a mode. Gameplay wise nothing will be the same. Hunt you find 3 clues to find the boss and kill it. HazRd zone the things fall from the sky and you goto them and to collect.
Idk I think if they did it like dark zones in Tom Clancy games where if you get extracted you can get like cool cosmetics etc you should earn currency to buy the battle pass from hazard zone and be able to get and earn limited time cosmetics

This might already be in but I would also like to have one skin but maybe have a the specialists ability's added to it to make the squad a little more unique and the character feel like you.
I’m confused, the reason for playing Hazard zone is so you build up a streak that’s only useful in Hazard zone? Also people that are really good will build up a streak and get better, other people will just feel like they are getting worse? 🤷
@@jgorogue New players wont stick around if they are being killed by every skilled players and then have to wait in some spectate mode on the off chance theyll be revived by their squad. This mode will probably be that mode that hardly anyone plays
i'll definitely try the mode but as I've said before, imo battlefield's gunplay is a little too arcadey to really suit a hardcore permadeath mode like this
I think it hits the sweet spot between arcadey and realistic. Tarkov is sometimes too realistic to enjoy and cod is too arcadey. So maybe this will hit the sweet spot and be really enjoyable, I hope so at least.
I have a feeling that the first season will be fairly basic, however moving forward they are going to implement other things with the success of the mode. I am high key excited to try it out!
I think people will play it often if that extraction streak applies to all out warfare XP. Like a multiplier of what their extraction streak number is. And to balanced this maybe it resets every week or month but archived their overall streak.

I already see this being a straight HELL with randoms.
Since i play most of my games alone this probably aint gonna be for me.
nice outro music. very euphoric and im not even on drugs
Saying that this mode is anything like Tarkov or Hunt just because it has extraction mechanics is a fundamental misunderstanding of what those two games are.
*This
Exactly! This is no Tarkov. Not even close.
And better weapons become available the higher the round you go
Id love to set up defences in the sossions town and just defend against infinite waves of infantry. Being able to have friendly AI too
it compares to Hunt Showdown more than it does Tarkov but either way im down with it
Yeah kinda wish they'd put unique weapons and gear in Hazard Zone that you can actually lose if you bring it with you next time and don't make it out
Yeah but the Hunt showdown ist slow and its very important the sound and footsteps… i dont think that will go good because is too fast and honestly i play the beta and i dont know for you but i barely hear all those footsteps
@@ultrasquall22 yup feels like i have nothing to lose
yep this is where all the eggs in the basket are. I see so much potential. lets get it dice and jack!
Also the hazard zone could be tied to the story also foretelling within 2042 which could be a good reason to play too.
Looks fun...sad that I don't have any friends to team up with...and random matching is really high stakes on my nerve system
What do you play on?
@@berkle PC...we have 4 likes...looks like a team of outsiders :D
The track / song at the end was "As the Sun Goes Down"" by Tomas Skyldeberg. Great track!
I am skeptical about this mode. It looks like a mode that is fun for a little bit, but could get boring after playing for a couple of hours. Idk we will see when the game comes out, mostly looking forward to portal mode.
Yea I’m
Wondering
That also
yea just like tarkov, tarkov is really fun to play with friends, but gets boring after a while. I'll still enjoy this way more than warzone but that's just me
@@alphad763 Well also I believe Tarkov and other similar games give you incentives to continue playing the games, all battlefield is probably gonna give you is a couple player cards and maybe a skin or two.
@@mrmustachegaming8633 a skin or 2 that everyone will hate seeing in regular multiplayer too.
Sounds cool, sounds like we are going to get in the middle of this fight like Irish said in the trailer from a while back.
Looks interesting but I am going to keep my hopes low
This is by definition, a battle royal.
I can't wait to watch you play Hazardzone! It will be interesting to see how it separates itself from Hunt.
For one the matches are faster and the maps are much smaller and less dense than the hunt maps if they are build like orbital.
I can see recon's drone being op in this mode. Information and spoting is important as hell.
Sounds super cool. I am very excited about this. I hope there is a solo version of it. I keep super weird hours so all my friends and I would play at very different hours.
Missed opportunity to make a solid battle royale
Tbh i think the br craze died, and im sick of battle royals
Anything but another battle royale
Looks fun but I agree with Jack with how their should be more objectives in the mode and purpose of going to locations to maybe find certain items like cosmetics or weapons. This might already be in but I would also like to have one skin but maybe have a the specialists ability's added to it to make the squad a little more unique and the character feel like you.
Love the premise, cant wait to stealth up and get hunting! Hope its got some decent grind to keep us coming back. Hyped AF!
Me to this sounds so fun. Because I didn’t get the chance to play tarkov because I don’t have pc and loved watching it so it will be amazing to play.
Jack the type of guy to have a crazy moment go down and say “that was absolutely mental”
I’m confused, the reason for playing Hazard zone is so you build up a streak that’s only useful in Hazard zone?
Also people that are really good will build up a streak and get better, other people will just feel like they are getting worse? 🤷
Would be good if you managed to kill the team that had been on a streak and get their items
Be better than the other players, tarkov and hunt have 0 sympathy for less skilled players, this shouldn’t either
@@jgorogue You can get items from players you kill in tarkov
@@jgorogue New players wont stick around if they are being killed by every skilled players and then have to wait in some spectate mode on the off chance theyll be revived by their squad.
This mode will probably be that mode that hardly anyone plays
@@Saint_asonia1 uh okay? I know
Nice of jack to take time out from play testing battlefield 7.
So honestly keep specialist in this mode, but bring back normal class system in regular multiplayer
Am I the only person who's tired of looking at a tornado?
This like the Fortnite LTM then when you collect the Llama and then extract and only 2 teams can win by extracting 😂
Crashing satellites? "That is the greatest thing I have ever seen, in my entire life"
32 players in these big maps, its going to be hard to actually come across any real person to fight. Interesting concept though.
It obviously isnt going to be the whole map.
It’s not the whole map. It’s a piece. Possibly different pieces everytime as well.
Tarkov has less players in game and the maps are big. Still find action, plus their are bots
I like the ending song Jack
i'll definitely try the mode but as I've said before, imo battlefield's gunplay is a little too arcadey to really suit a hardcore permadeath mode like this
I think it hits the sweet spot between arcadey and realistic. Tarkov is sometimes too realistic to enjoy and cod is too arcadey. So maybe this will hit the sweet spot and be really enjoyable, I hope so at least.
It reminds me of The Division’s quarantine zones more then hunt showdown or escape from tarkov
I have a feeling that the first season will be fairly basic, however moving forward they are going to implement other things with the success of the mode. I am high key excited to try it out!
I can see recon with drone being a must on team.
Meh, Hazard Zone doesn't seem to have any rewards that you can use outside the game like skins, etc.
I think people will play it often if that extraction streak applies to all out warfare XP. Like a multiplier of what their extraction streak number is. And to balanced this maybe it resets every week or month but archived their overall streak.
