Over the years, I have more or less finalized my cooking system to a 1100ml TOAKS Ti pot with a "mid-size" Campingmoon XD stove. The 1100 ml size allows me to throw in a full pack of instant noodle without breaking it, my favorite treat during backpacking, and the Campingmoon stove works a loooot better at high elevations than BRS. Anyway, these are all, including BRS, Chinese companies and great products from China, i.e., low price - LOL!

Hey Dan I am trying to catch up on my Vloggers. I just finished a 111.1 mile hike on the Batona Trail through the Pine Barren's of NJ. It was sponsored by Outdoors Vitals and without the technics that they laid out I would not have finished. The weather was brutally hot and humid. My goal was to do 80 miles the years I was turning 80 and was able to check it off. God Bless

I have the Toaks 550 and 650 in the 95mm diameter. Including their lids the 550ml is 67.1g and the 650ml 72.3g, so the 18% added volume is 8% more weight. So if volume is not as critical then arguably the bigger pot is more flexible, you can put stuff within the pot (e.g. towel to also reduce rattling and dry pot).
If you were looking at 2-pot system, such as to drink+eat then plenty of other good options, the smallest being the Toaks 550ml 103mm diameter fits outside the Toaks 550 or 650. The next size up is the Toaks 900 115mm can fit the 550 90mm or the 550 103ml within, or even the 650 90mm within if you ditch it's lid.

I got a stainless steel very thin wall cup from the flea market...$1....2 oz, lighter than titanium. Holds a small fuel canister in it as well. Here's the truth, you've been scammed..... Titanium is not light..... It's just expensive. Because it has to be thicker to be strong enough. You can make thin wall stainless steel stuff that is lighter than the titanium you get.

And it's still big enough to take a 100g gas canister, the BRS3000T, a windshield, a spoon, a folding spork, a lighter and a cap for a Wildo Fold a Cup.

Get yourself a colapsable pot and put a lighter in it. Works with every fuel and if u don't have fuel dig a tiny hole and put some coals in it. This titanium one is only the best if u plan to carry around those fuel tanks. It's actually not as easy to find in the US as it should be. They mostly sell the big green LT ones.

      Toaks are Chinese made.

If toaks were made in Israel 🇮🇱 I would definitely buy them instead of Snow Peak which I own now.

Why do people put the dirty canister in there pot😫 just grinding and bouncing metal on metal. what are people thinking! Ingesting metal or having to thoroughly wash your pot before every meal is dumb. I doubt anybody uses soap and washes it out correctly.

many wrap their canisters in a bandana to counteract exactly that, and can double as a hot potholder (briefly)
