Yep, that’s Eli’s wife Ashley! Layne’s youngest, Doris, just turned 7 today and that little baby William in Geoff’s arms is now 6! Also the last note was a very resonant F1 sub. 😊
Geoff the moment you see him with that little boy, melted my heart so bad! It's one thing to be talented and handsome but seeing how much he loves his family on top of it is so precious. You can not convince me this man is not a Greek Muse incarnated, he is too perfect to be human! XD
William Geoff and Kathy’s son is 6 now so that gives you an idea how long ago this was. This is so sweet did you notice how Earl threw the huge hay bale from quite a distance.? The guys said in one of their chats about how strong he is ❤🏴
I think you might be the first reactor I’ve seen comment on the looks Geoff and Earl exchanged, but I read them differently. I saw Geoff asking, “Where’d that come from?” while Earl replied, “I don’t know!” Also, I can hit that note Earl hit there as well as every note Geoff hits except the last one. I haven’t learned to do subharmonics.
The first time I saw this was after I'd seen "Our IVF Journey" on Geoff's channel, and I flat out ugly cried at the ending here. Knowing what they'd gone through to get this point, and that look of utter joy when Geoff reaches for his little boy... sniff. It's heartwarming to see the other families, too. Layne is so outnumbered -- wife and four daughters, and I think even their dogs are female. LOL! The spouses also have a cameo in Boy Bands In Five Minutes, which is a super fun video.
Yes, I thoroughly recommend watching our IVF journey then watching this again, for added feels in that last scene. Geoff and Kathy are so supportive of each other (also clear in their video on hearing loss, and elsewhere).
I love this song so much, and the video is just so heartwarming, of cause with a twist of VoicePlay-goofiness ❤ I have to admit that when you called Geoff adorable, I immediately thought: "Just wait till you see him with his son" - I love the facial expression on Geoff when he sees his son 🥰
Daddy sang bass, Mommy sang soprano, and me and my brother joined in. Another classic country song I heard many times growing up. Now I sing bass, my brother sings baritone, and Mom is still a soprano. Thank you for reminding of me my Dad. Second one tonight. Keep on keepin' on, man!
This is the song that led me to be a VP addict. I love the song, and listened just for that. Had never heard of VP before this. They won my loyalty with this.
This is definitely a slightly older video, but with Geoff, what is always the most striking to me when watching older videos is his brown hair. I think that's what was probably throwing you off the most. Now when I see him like that it almost looks fake to me. 😂 This is such a heartwarming video getting to see all their families. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Geoff admits he can't get up intowhat he calls "Earl's world" but it's all in fun. I think I'm right in saying that J has married since this was made. One you might not have seen but it's fun :It Ain't Me.
Yes, J. has since married. They had a courthouse ceremony (I think; it was definitely small) before he went into the Navy so she would legally be his dependent as far as the military was concerned. The wedding and reception with friends was held a couple days after they filmed Valhalla Calling. They posted on social media about it. Looks like they had a great time.
I always thought it was funny that my dad loved this song, but he was actually a tenor in his high school's glee club, while I'm a contralto and sing lower than him, haha! Little William Castellucci has the best dad to sing him to sleep.
This is a classic in both the country-western and Gospel genres and has been done by many artists and groups. The Cash version features the Carter family, his in-laws who were famous in their own right. His wife June did the "Mama sang tenor" part. Voiceplay knocks it out of the park.
That 'noise' is officially known as a "Geoffquake''......if you want to see more of a 'baby-faced' Geoff, and Earl's vocal pyrotechnics......check out their mash-up of "Shape of You/ No Diggity"..with Mathew Darren....HE is WHY Geoff let his hair grow out.....>^^
Yes, this is great with all the families. You have to react to Phantom of the Opera being that you said you are a theater kid. Awaiting your reaction to that one.
For some great older VoicePlay, you should react to Billie Eilish in 3 minutes, plus Part 1 and 2 of Panic in 4 minutes - in that order. Love your reactions to VoicePlay. Thank You!
This is such a fun, happy one. Glad you got to experience it! You should watch some of the vp or geoff BTS, William, geoff's son, is in those a lot of the times. He's a super cutie. 💜🦌 #DJantlers #DJsHerd
I love this song and knew you'd love it too. Especially Baby Geoff as I love to call that look. I also love how long and hard to road was for Geoff and Kathy to have William, so Geoff could be daddy singing bass. Lots of love to you DJ ❤
I've heard versions of this sung by countless singers. Voiceplay's rendition does the song justice. BTW, here's the link of a video of Johnny Cash, June Carter & the Statler Brothers singing it in 1969: ruclips.net/video/Zbibz_fEch0/видео.html.
Dj, it's not quite the same because we don't see Adam's family except one brief glimpse but, 'Down to the Honkytonk' by Home Free has Chance and Sami (then engaged, now married) Tim and Anika, Rob and his wife and kids, Austin and his friend Sebastian, no Amberlee though and is a kinda hilarious and heartwarming video, shot during lockdowns so they had to work with what they had. Adam is a big D'n'D/40k nerd and you can see him painting some of his models in the video too. A couple of very low notes courtesy of Mr Foust.
Omg, I'm almost crying... My gorgeous parents with my demonical cat live in one city, I have study in another, so I didn't see them for some months 😭 I want to go home so much Thank you for reaction, sunshine 💙
I just love this song 🎵 🥰 thanks for sharing this video. Geoff Layne and Earl became friends back in Jr High. You should check out Season of Love (from Rent) cover by RJ Rafael ft Voiceplay
Loved the reaction, though I hope you never have to hear your stomach do that again. o.O Can I recommend Kurt Hugo Schnieder ft. VoicePlay doing 21 Pilots Mashup and VoicePlay's Ride? Both feature more baby-faced versions of the gents and Ride is a good Eli-centric video.
Sitting on his lap without a flinch, you just KNOW Babylucci will never be scared of thunderstorms. Cause it’ll sound and feel just like daddy. ❤
"Babylucci"?!!! Love it!!
Yep, that’s Eli’s wife Ashley! Layne’s youngest, Doris, just turned 7 today and that little baby William in Geoff’s arms is now 6!

9:59 have you ever seen Layne and the Stein Family music videos? They are so fricken cute and you get to hear a whole spectrum of laynes vocal range!
First, you shouldn't know what your stomach sounds like after not eating for three days!
I heard that too, and my first thought was "no, DJ, you gotta take care of yourself better than that"
Entirely addicted to observing you get destroyed by Voice Play and Geoff Castellucci!
A deep sub that took Geoff quit a long time to master, but seeing all them together is so adorable
I think you’ve figured out why we measure the age of older videos by the length of Geoff’s hair
Geoff, Earl and Layne went to school together since they were kids.
William Geoff and Kathy’s son is 6 now so that gives you an idea how long ago this was. This is so sweet did you notice how Earl threw the huge hay bale from quite a distance.? The guys said in one of their chats about how strong he is ❤🏴
Or how about Layne's effort on those two small bales? 😆
Apparently he's a demigod, or so I heard.
@@Ally.20022 Layne has chicken arms. Badumptiss.
J. NONE always said how Earl kept trying to get him to go to the gym with him and lift weights.
"that's a young Geoff"... Well.. You should look at "death of a bachlor"... An even younger Geoff, with a trick up his sleeve ;)
that's baby Geoff.😆

Now that you're dabbling with their older music I would love to see you react to them singing It Ain't Me featuring John Pinto Jr.
I love that one! And it was filmed in my best friends' family studio. It's so filun to see them goofing off as well as it being an awesome arrangement
I always thought it was funny that my dad loved this song, but he was actually a tenor in his high school's glee club, while I'm a contralto and sing lower than him, haha! Little William Castellucci has the best dad to sing him to sleep.

With the Statler Brothers also. That's the version I grew up knowing. ruclips.net/video/eh1MxpcKOYc/видео.html

This is one of those that really make me miss Earl, even to this day! But yeah, I love how they bring their families in at the end...
Loved this so much! Knew you'd fall to pieces when you saw the families and you did not disappoint!
One of my favorites. So nice to see the fams.
😂 Omg, if Voiceplay ever did an All Time Low cover, my brain would literally melt out of my ears.

You should totally check out their version of I will survive. Earl hits some impressive hi notes
I look forward to your reactions. Makes me smile so much. Time has flown and seeing them with lived ones in videos is precious
Excellent reaction to a fantastic cover. Love it when they include their family in songs! Thanks for the reaction!
This was so wonderful!!! Thanks for your reaction!😊
This is one of their best
Beautiful! Love all their families with them.
Such a great song! ❤
Love seeing the guys with their fams! Love seeing you seeing it too! 😂😂
Loved your reaction. Thank you for my smile today.
I have always loved this song. The guys sound great
This whole thing just made my heart so happy ❤️
I looked it up and they released this four years ago .
I knew you'd love this ‼️

Can't wait for your age commentary from stuff like bubblegum
