This has been the Toyota way of doing remote start, it is like doing a “Contra” game secret hack. Unlike Honda, which they have a dedicated button on the fob, Toyota has always been the press lock twice, hold lock on the third one and your lights will flash a few times letting you know it went through.
I agree with most of this. I'm 5'7 so I don't have that comfort height issue! 😭 I wanted to add onto the 14.5 inch screen. I agree navigating it doesn't make sense at first and seems like you're fighting it, but you just get use to it. I have problems with my phone connecting and car play and having to reconnect it manually 6/10 times I enter the car. Its annoying. Should just always connect the sec I sit in the car. I have to go to settings and click car play again. Also twice now I've had the car app on my phone tell me the doors were unlocked when I was sure I locked it. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue! Great video and learned about the remote start 3 times trick on here! That was my other complaint lol
great video and points. I do think that the rear head room is something you should have known before making the purchase. camry is not a large car like it used to be from 2002-2014
You can ajust the height level of the heads up display in the HUD settings.... up or down using the arrows on the stearing wheel once you get into the HUD setting....
The seat adjustment shouldn't have memory especially if it's others that may use the vehicle also. The remote seating is fine. The height need to sit in vehicles before you drive off they have vehicles for tall people just need to have patience in shopping around. ECO is always the highly recommended option because you will save gas usage. Test drive before you sign contracts. If it's inconvenient for your height that's great. And read the whole contract before signing ask questions too. Love your vehicle. ❤
Interesting, I see you have cooling seats but no parking sensors or 360 camera. Mine is same color combo as yours but in premium plus, has the 360 camera, cooling seats and front/rear parking sensors. I do wish they have memory seats too, but not too big of a deal for me since I'm the only one driving this car. As for driving mode, if I use eco or normal mode, it'll keep the same mode the next time I get in. Only if I use sport mode, it'll change back to normal mode the next time I get in. Walkaway auto lock is nice, I had it on my previous mazda vehicles but I had turned it off most of the time. The one thing I wish this car has is the welcome light (or whatever it's called) where when you unlock your car at night, the low beam turns on. Only the dinky little amber side marker turns on when I unlock the car at night lol
Same car here and features as your car with the premium package too. I wish it had memory seating although I’m usually the only one driving too. It’s hard to find that preferred position when someone else drive it though TBH. I also turned off the auto walk away system.
I’m in Canada and have the 2025 Camry XSE like yourself. When it comes to remote, I press the fob to lock and then push lock again 3️⃣ times to remote start. Not certain if US Camrys have that feature. Should be in your owners manual if so.
I’m 6’2 didn have a issue u just have to adjust your seat the right way all the way down seat leaned back just a lil bit and lower legs raised up u will be fine
@@TheSmokingBeardright, it’s crazy. But they have the base xse, xse premium package I assume you have since you have the heads up display. And then the premium plus package. That’s fully loaded with 360 cameras, lance change assist, and parking sensors.
Thank you I got one. 1st ever Toyota. AND LAST TOYOTA FOR ME. GARBAGE if u ask me. Overpriced, cheap built. I would add, WINDOWS. Roll them half way down and you can almost break them. They are very loose. NEXT. What's with the rear seat rest. When you fold them down. 😮OMG So frickin flimsy. NEXT. The radio assistant. It always interrupts me when having a conversation with anyone. NEXT For crying out loud. Isn't the point of connecting trunk to back seat to have a more spacious area to haul bigger items? NOOÓOOOOO stupid Toyota has to leave a 4 to 5 inch step in the middle and is very small opening. And yes I agree with everything.
simple solution to most of your problems... you should have gotten a honda accord. I know the looks of the new one is not everyone's cup of tea, but as a general commuter it has all the features you are missing with your camry
Walkaway auto lock is so common and so convenient, should not be missing for a luxury car like this.
Tell me about it.
The Camry is not a luxury vehicle
@@dylspeckkright but my 2019 Honda crv exl has this
@@topranked5465 I don’t doubt that, for its price point and class the Camry should definitely have the option even tho it’s not a luxury vehicle
you can remote start by click lock 3 times and on the third hold
Thanks. I'll have to try that out.
Yup I had to google it and yes it works

I have a 2023 XSE and I am 6 foot 1, no issues with headroom. I tend to keep my seat lower which helps and I have no panoramic sunroof
I think it has to do with the sunroof. I had a 2022 SE Hybrid, and I had more headroom.
Nice car
Thanks
In the Toyota 2025 Camry hybrid XLE has auto locking after certain time.....But most of the time doesn't work.

To each his own
The front hood needs hydraulic lift
Lol
Desperately needs the gas struts to hold that steel hood up. The older was aluminum and had struts too 🤷♂️
Hood your lock three times it remote starts from the keys
Yes. Thank you. Someone else also brought that to my attention
All those features are available on XLE premium plus.
Thanks
Heads up display can move up and down. Parking sensor come with the premium plus package.
How do you move the angle? Premium Plus? How many different versions of the car do they have? Am I buying a car or the latest smart phone... lol

But they do it like that because some people just want the base xse. Nothing to fancy just the nice upgrades from the se.
Memory seats available on the luxury version… The XLE
Memory seats on the top trim xle

You didn't need a Camry. You need a Tundra.
