Bumper damage aside, I will never understand these irresponsible pitbull owners who think it’s no big deal to allow their dogs to roam around unleashed. NO dog owner should allow their dog to run unleashed, but particularly not when a dog is capable of doing the type of damage that he pitbull is capable of doing. Wake up and grow up!
Is the Defendant serious??? The neighbor saw the dog collide with the car and even told her that, but she's saying the Plaintiff could've hit a ball... the dog was off leash... apparently, she thinks it's okay because he was playing with other dogs and kids... Ma'am, you don't deserve to have a dog if you can't abide by the laws... IMO...
Dang! Why is it always a pitbull? My dad had one for about 12 or 14 years, and she was the biggest baby, the gentlest dog he has ever had. I would hug my dad and she would jump up into the hug, hugging us both. She slept on his lap. I mean, she was just a big big softie. RIP Kaycee
The audacity of her condescendingly saying, "he wanted all these new parts," when I bet a solid $20, she would be suing for new parts if the role was reversed.
Ill say it really depends on the damage. My car was sold to me severely messed up, but had a clean vin. The previous owners had wrecked it and the bumper was being held on with drywall screws. I had no idea until i slid down a small hill into a decorative rock that pulled it off that it was as damaged as it was. I had to drive it home with the bumper dragging against the ground. I called my friend who was a mechanic and told him about it and just the plastic bumper would cost me $400 to replace. Except that when the previous owners wrecked it, the damaged it so bad that the crumple zones in the front (which absorb the brunt of the impact to prevent your engine flying into the cabin of your car) was completely munched and rusted out. So now i need to replace the bumper cover (the outer plastic that houses the lights and makes it look nice), as well as the actual bumper. Im lucky that my partners best friend is a mechanic and has offered to help me do it for free.
I was passanger in a car when a white Pit Bull run out and went under the cars tyres. Everyone was in shock. Everyone thought it was dead, no one wanted to look. I was in tears, the owners daughter was screaming! BUT the bloody dog got up, even had tyre marks across its head. The owners took it too the vet and besides the tyre marks it was completely fine😊 Pit Bulls are tough and built like Brick Shit houses.
Always lowlife pitbull owners. I get it this was a dog running into the street and not a bite, but it's always the same with them. It couldn't be my dog, and if it was it couldn't do that much damage, and if it did do that much damage then your estimate is too much, so now I'm not paying. Always trying to minimize the situation. Stop. Get help.
This is a very, very, very easy case for a defendant to win on all levels. The Judge was laughing at the end because she knew that the plaintiff hadn't a leg to stand on. The plaintiff was driving & did not see what he hit. He cannot identify the dog or whatever he hit. He says that some unnamed neighbor say it was the plaintiff's dog, but he did not bring the neighbor as a witness nor presented an affidavit. All the defendant had to say in her defense was "not my dog. It was in the house all the time. It never got loose. Whoever told the defendant it was my dog do not like me & lied to him". Thats all she had to say...and the case would be dismissed. But from the time she opened her mouth she supported the plaintiff's case, & everything she said in her entire defense made his case stronger. The plaintiff did not win the case for himself. She won it for him 🤣🤣🤣 But...I am not deriding her because she did the right thing. She told the truth.
the more I live the more I dislike people. You do something wrong own up to it and fix it simple.
This woman should not be allowed to own a pitbull
She should not be allowed to own a dog. Ever.
Plaintiff and defendant dressed very nicely
Yes they did! It’s nice to see some people with class, or at least enough dignity to look respectable in court Lol.
Does the entire influence the judge? lol
@dannaphys5008 no I don't know. It's just nice to see my people take pride in their appearance
They both dressed for church 😅

Letting a pit bull run loose, she should be charged for allowing a dangerous dog run free.
Defendant offered to pay if he took the car to a shop she chose to do the repairs that she don't think her dog caused🤔
They cross examined her so good she forgot she said it wasnt her dog at first.
Right? 🤣
You know that she’d be mad and want her bumper fixed if it was her Jaguar that got damaged!!! She’s a real piece of work! 😒
Yeah if she even has a Jag
Why is any dog off the leash ?
For some reason, every dog owner seems to think their dog is the exception and doesn’t need to be on one. 🙄
@@bash547I'll tell my malamutes that everyday 😂
Exactly. If their precious dog attack someone, the first thing they will say is "oh but he's so sweet." SMH
I believe every word he said. I know a liar when I hear one and he’s not that. He was even gonna let her make payments. She’s ridiculous
Woman please keep your dog on a leash it's the law 😂
She admitted it was her dog so there for she's responsible end of discussion. Why is it always a pit bull that's off leash
The Defendant needs to own up to her responsibility. Allowing her dog to run around loose is very irresponsible. 😮😢
Defendants looks constantly surprised
She lucky it's just 500

Maybe the dogs tail was already scratched too
That dog could kill somebody. She’s irresponsible
I bet she'll have a leash on her dog from now on.
OT: These are the best dressed litigants I have ever seen. 🧐
I love defendant’s voice. Sounds like a young Maya Angelou

And here we go again another bad pittbull owner ..no leash

Pit bull mix can damage a vehicle especially if it’s plastic

Of course it had to be a pitbull 🤦♂️ Irresponsible owners seem to be drawn to that breed
I had to stop watching mid episode because I’m wondering how nobody has yet asked, is the dog OK…? Especially JM she’s such an animal lover.
But the dog was fine.
You stopped watching based on assumptions? I'm sure if the dog were hurt there would have been a counter suit mentioned at the beginning
Where the hell was she going in that outfit? A Christmas party??
All good here in Chicago Illinois ❤
When I’m at the courthouse yeah I’m bumpin it
Good verdict. The Defendant knew her dog caused the damage to his car. Vehicle repairs are not cheap.
