I still have my Baggie Francie! I remember when I got her on a grocery store trip. She needs a reroot as she made frequent appearances in the bathtub with me and Rub-a-Dub Dolly, lol. I also gave her some bangs when I was a teenager. I love her, mainly for the memories. Unfortunately, her dark pink bikini has vanished some years back. Great find!
I can see why you enjoyed her so much she is really a cute Francie.
That's awesome. If you buy elastic string, you can sometimes take a needle, thread it with the elastic and weave it through the waist, sleeves etc. It helps to make the outfits look better without trying to take apart the garment and re-sewing it. You probably already knew that, but just in case... nice haul 😊

Wow OMG Awesome!!!!!! Great Skipper Case, good selection of clothes with it and the brunette Skipper is super sweet. That clone outfit is groovy awesome for sure! The Baggie Cassie WoW you must have had an adrenaline Rush when she pulled that out! 🤪 Love the blue hair on the rainbow high doll!

I don't have much luck at thrift stores, I have heard of people finding good ones there. I think I have only found a Tammy doll and a Skipper after all these years. But you never know. So, I do visit them occasionally.
Oh, what a great haul! Definitely worth going into that crowded convention hall! I'm fascinated by the boxed Dawn. I had Dawn dolls as a child, but I have ZERO recollection of the packaging they came in and I totally did not recognize that box. I wonder if they were packaged differently in Canada? I should research! Love that Skipper case and oh my so many Skipper clothes in that haul! Also, I enjoyed BJ's pictures, so much fun seeing other collectors' treasures!
They did package things differently and even had dolls exclusive to different countries. BJ’s collecting is so cool. Did you see that mini Ken in Skippers pocket?

I love the baggie Casey and the skipper case. I do have two ideas for the faded sequins. If they still make the fine point metallic silver sharpie, carefully go over each one. Another would be aleene's clear fabric glue and silver sequins close to the shape and size. Gently dab a tiny bit of glue on each of the old sequin and lay the new silver one over it. Let set for 24 hours just to be safe. If it also has sequins on the back. Do one side first than the other after the previous side is dry.

I have been going through my Skipper stuff and I can't identify those blue dotted sleep pants...yet lol.😀 I did just get a Mattel Tiny Chatty Baby 1969 in super condition, that still talks, sooo cute. I'm positive her outfit is the same fabric as Mattel did do that.😊💟

@@BarbieLove I got her in the original window box. The plastic was missing but she wasn't ever taken out. Of course I took her out lol.😀 I got her on ebay for cheap!

The blonde Francie is a rar find indeed, and really valuable! I still have my brunette version, the last Barbie I received as a child. Also love your new Skipper collection - you got the best case they made for her!

My first, it was a lot of fun, finding dolls there was a challenge though, so hard to even get into a seller's booth
First of all, Happy Thanksgiving Sue!!! I just know how Thankful you are about that Skipper score!!!! WOW!!! I think that out of all of the Barbie cases from the past, that particular Skipper case was the most classy!! It was so neat because of how the picture went around the case. Just so 1965 "WITH IT!!!!" Love it!! Also, nice Midge in the masquerade..she looks like she has nice hair...flip is nice. Lemon Fluff was nice to get. And, Malibu Sue got a Francie..or is it, Malibu Francie got a Sue!! LOL That Boxed Dawn is nice. Her leg bruise is ok. Love the red top on the dress. Always loved the same type dress with the turquoise top, too. BJ Major's dolls are wonderful!! Thanks for showing those. I loved his Midge in the green prom dress..I had that one as a kid.
On cleaning Barbie clothes, everyone has a method, but, my tip is to soak in blue Dawn dish soap.(dilute) It won't fade older clothes with bright colors, and the whites pop out nicely with the blueing in the Dawn soap. ( It works on white dogs too and kills fleas.) ; ))
My favorite Skipper is a 1965 Brunette. They were just the pretties ones to me. More animated face, too. Hair was nice and they looked good in the navy blue swimsuit. That was a pretty Rainbow High too. It's always best to get the best looking doll of those you will only have one or two of. What a happy Thanksgiving for you Sue. I could tell how you had that Barbie high going on. Congrates. PS...Carter bought me a Blonde Living Barbie for my Christmas. We could not wait, so I opened her. She a very close to mint. You got a great deal on those vintage dolls! I just love the Skipper with the nice case and clothes and shoes. Super deal at $40!! There is a ToyCon in Nashville in August (about 1 1/2 hours away). Do they usually have Barbies even if its not listed on their website? I'm looking for a nice vintage Skipper too. Hoping to find a great deal like you got.
That was the first one I had ever been to Diana. So, I don't know if they all do or not. I was shocked to find a few Vintage Barbies there.

I got them in a Barbie haul. They are old from the 50’s. Someone told me they were a fad In the 50’s and girls would wear them on their collars.
