The story about how the Ghosts got their name is amazing. Followed by a mission where it actually felt hopeless. What a great start of the campaign, and it only gets better. Don't really remember the last time a campaign gave me that feeling of it being a movie instead of a game

You’re telling me that not only did rorke survive a .44 magnum round going through his sternum, he managed to swim to the surface under his own power and proceed to beat the shit out of the relatively unharmed Logan?

I honestly like the idea of a Call of Duty taking place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Lot of potential for level design and dystopian story elements

I frankly love the fact that I'm so disconnected to the media and the opinions of people in fandoms. I never heard of anything about this game and when I played it I thought it was amazing. Didn't even know that it was considered the worst of the franchise.
I remember being around 13 or 14 when I first played this game and I was excited because it was the only Call of Duty I was allowed to play, and I would play for HOURS. This campaign (for me personally) is only outshined by the first Black Ops campaign, and Modern Warefare 2 and 3.
Anybody else consider the end where Rorke dies to be canon instead of him living? Because I do. With how we’re left with this ending until they either create a sequel or don’t, I feel like Rorke dying is the best option.

The cutscenes were absolutely beautiful and brilliant. The idea of a cod game where it requires a great amount of stealth is an amazing idea. If only they worked on the campaign story a bit better, and the multiplayer a bit less aids, then it would’ve been an amazing. The gunplay was amazingly awesome, the guns were unique and fun to use differently, and the idea of it all is just awesome.

Having a campaign in the "near future" with modern warfare style weaponry/warfare while being in a desperate struggle give this game a dire vibe some C.O.D campaigns lack.
Someone commented on the Modern Warfare 2 remake that they had a theory about one of the missions where you all wear ghost masks is Infinity Ward's idea to connect the two games, and serve as an in-universe beginning of the Ghosts shown in this game.
There hasn't been anything that hints to development of a Ghosts 2. It's also been years and other call of duty games have been released in between, big "ambitious" projects. Let's face it, we will be stuck on this cliffhanger for years to come unless some studio truly wants to continue the storyline.

There could’ve been two prequel games that given the rise of the federation and maybe then that game that focuses on the ghosts team would be okay to center upon.
Silent characters tend to make a game suck a little bit, so for this I imagined that Logan actually was mute or simply didn't speak after the events that destroyed his home. It kind of works with the fact that characters, particularly his dad and brother, don't worry about his silence. Like they always talk to him in a way that doesn't expect a reply.

If we remember, Rorke talked about Alvagro as if he was a bounty of sorts. His approach to Logan was like HE was a bounty to him. He only wanted him alive rather then the satisfaction of killing him or/and Hesh. There's no telling if Logan will break like Rorke has because Logan wasn't abandonded or left behind to die. And i know this video's old but I'm pointing it out.
