These WERE the lyrics, stupid fuck. They weren't finished writing it yet, dumbass. This was BEFORE they recorded the load version, dipshit! He didn't forget them, dumbass.
@@ctestdummy83 yee, the lyrics aren’t finished at this point. For example, both in the London and donnington performance he sings “my calling card” instead of “so go too far”
That was a fun 4 days - this show and a few days later Escape from the Studio Pt part deux at Donington in front of 76,000 people. I think I left about 10 gallons of sweat on the floor at the Astoria during this gig and drank it all back in beer at Donington. So happy that folks videoed this show.
@@bispower6 I think it sounds better live. Pretty sure they don't play it often because they have other singles that became way bigger hits off the same album.
The solo concept was much nicer on this pre-definitive edition, Kirk, James and then Kirk closing it greately! Shame they didn’t keep it as it was here
I blame his big foray into blues and blues rock, its there a lot on the black album but after that tour (or during) he gets big into hendrix (even more so) and stevie ray vaughan. Hell i think there’s some moments on the black album tour where he’s on the wah waaayyyyy too much during his live unaccompanied solo. I like metallica and to this day still enjoy listening to them but even i cringe about some stuff
I prefer listening to Load to listening to Black Album. I enjoy the old days, after the Load era. I don't like Black Album, only Sad but True and The Unforgiven sound nice to my ears.
Some of the Load era stuff is ok at best, but comming from the greatest heavy metal band of all time? Its not that they changed their sound from what htey used to be, but songs like 2x4? Should have been called cardboard.
The groove in this song is fucking awesome
0:09 That synchronization
+42mrwright u mean the headbanging?
Bryan HDGaming Yeah basically and just their movement in general
I don't know bout y'all, but Load and ReLoad are good albums.
i love them both.
DriveByGuy556 yup
DriveByGuy Yep-tired of the so-called 'true fans' trashing these albums.
Brian R nobody hates Metallica more than those true fans
I thought Load was fantastic but honestly though Reload sucked ass
Dat mullet was badass from Hetfield.
SUCH An Underrated Song It's Sad They Don't Really Play this😢
I love James, he doesn't remember the lyrics and he keeps singing no matter what. King James!
Coolest thing is his voices still sounds very close to this video.

Jason looks like he plays bass in some highschool punk band
James voice fits this bluesy metal just 👌
3:26 is a James solo😮
James has a few solos from Load
This, House Jack Built, Thorn within, Outlaw torn...
@@lclccl and the original solo for wasting my hate off the demo
@@lclccl not mentioning one of the most epic solos from metal ever...
"Nothing else Matters"
u must be knew here =)
@@JuanPabloContrerasC ah yes, Nothing Else Matters, my favorite song from Load
Interesting period for Metallica. Almost seems like they have a bit of a "Pantera" vibe here before going full weird on Load.
Sean Haberlin it’s the shorts

Sean Haberlin ughhhh this was from load
Everything about Load is cool except the album cover

Great song from an another great era of tallica.
THIS GUYS ARE LEGENDS
I don't know if you, but I think Load is a very underrated album.
pablomistralband Load and Reload... Both are very underrated albums. Idiot fans dont care about these two albums.
It so weird that everyone hates Load ReLoad and St Anger but all I see in RUclips comments is people that like them
When the NEW shit sound really good
Excelent song from Load 🤘🤘🤘 happy new year 2022 and i'm still listening to Metallica
Теперь2024и мы ещё здесь!Металлика- Лучшие👍🤟

Jaymz with the mullet is so badass
definitely one of my major favs from this album....didn't think a live version existed anywhere....thanx for uploading!!
Still love this one, ✌️got that break stuff vibe 😮👌
one of my fav songs....sorry it got deleted from the setlist
They don't play it and sing ir good enough, that's the truth.

Wow, multicam, cool, thanks 🤟👍
in 95 James was a fuckin badass beast! the only one who can compete with him was maybe Phil Anselmo
First of all what is a badass anyways and people really compete to be one?
Mike Patton soars above both of them
James was already past his peak at this point
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoods8202in what way? He became a better singer at this point
I LIKE when he says ''New one' '
I really like this song
That Riff .. \m/
Good morning with metallica
Formidable!!!
This is good
Metallica playing Load before they cut their hair is like seeing a dodo bird.
Facts 😂 I wish they kept their hair but it is just hair after all
Metallica 3 ♥
a fuckin great groovy song
full show is upped on my channel, enjoy that one too :)
OMG, he just said "NEW ONE"?
Jason's perm!
Best song off of load/reload
Was this the show featured in that week and a half with Metallica video they put together for Load?
And the making of Load documentary
That mullet
I said: first, I enjoy the old days (1983-1989) after I like the Load era (1995-1997).
Jason ❤️🔥
I think this is the tightest stage I've ever saw them on.
Cries in '83 at the Metro
Metal blues
they looks like hardcore band

if Load era is old days... then how about Kill'em all? :)
Victorian era
lot of head banging going on.
Nice jewfro Jason.
James was probably times are changing, we need to become grunge so we can be relevant
Grunge was not relevant in 1995 lol, the time grunge was relevant Metallica ruled the fucking world
More like "we took our first year off since we started and all heard some new stuff. Let's write it into our stuff now and make a new kind of metal."
The solo concept was much nicer on this pre-definitive edition, Kirk, James and then Kirk closing it greately!
Shame they didn’t keep it as it was here
They kept it, it's like that on the album. It's just each one played a bit different
Not really, the solo is quite different!
These solos are much better here 😞
0:34 Screech played for Metallica?!
Panterica)
I think this is where Kirks hard on for the wah pedal Literally went into overdrive

James played the solo?? Kirk played it in the original
No, both played in the studio version
i don't know about you guys, but in my opinion this style is one of the best that hetfield has ever had... this hairstyle looks kickass as f*ck
I have to agree man! The barbarian. But in shorts! Kick ass.
Even a mullet suits to James
I always thought 2X4 is metal af. The riff is very Pantera.
Some Walk vibes
Man they really pulled a fast one on the fans. All indications here point to pantera like album
James de Bermuda.kkkkkk
wtf their 4 hair combs&clothing!
clearly a transition year in the band
REITERO, SERE EL PCIPE DE LAS TINIEBLAS PERO ME LIMITO Y SIEMPRE CON ELLO A MAYOORES, LES QUEDE BIEN 2 X 4

Why did Kurt think riding the wha made him good?
FILOS. ES QUE METALLICA TIENE ESE AIRE DE CONVERTIR A LOS ANGELES EN DEMONIOS Y A LOS DEMONIOS EN ANGELITOS¨, NO SE MAL CAPTE, POR FAVOR.
Jason looks like a jewish kid
2 X 4 COMPAS DE TANGO
This is just the ultimate pain in the brain. Ain’t no band like Pink Floyd and ain’t no guitarist like David Gilmour.
Nope, there's better.
