I've been waiting so long for English reviews of Chinese vehicles that are professionally produced. Their market is endless fascinating, as we don't get any of these vehicles here in Canada. I love seeing the radical designs and comments on the overall quality. Instantly subscribed, well done!
We just started getting them in Saudi Arabia 2 years ago and Changan took the market by storm, along side Haval and MG, they are so cheap but the quality is decent so people ate them up quickly, and I am yet to hear any real complaints, they seem to be actually good, for their price
They are slowly making there way to the Caribbean they look good and have good prices for a futuristic car in all classes
Same here in Pakistan, there has been a massive influx of Chinese brands with decent & value to money vehicles.
China automotive styling has quickly evolved a boldness that will soon lead the world.
All in the matter of a decade or so.
All they do is copy. They can get better at copying like the Koreans. This is just a rip off of the french Peugeot 3008

Every time I watch a Chinese car it takes me a few minutes to notice its not always an EV.
Blue license plate is fuel vehicle, green license plate is EV

Everything else notwithstanding, this looks really good from the outside. You can clearly see design elements of other cars, but then avoiding it gets ever harder and I'd say if you must borrow, borrow well.
For just a 21k bucks Chinese car, it's absolutely amazing and I wouldn't mind at all buying it

Chang'an, founded in World War II , is longer than Acura .

You could say the same thing for Honda and Hyundai.
Acura has a skeleton existence in the Chinese market (despite the effort of churning out a China-only CDX). The Chinese often mock that it's just an upscale Chang'an because of the logo. Same for Infiniti - popular indigenous brand Qi'rui's logo somehow resembles it upside-down.

The front end is gorgeous. So many of the Chinese designs have a certain flow...end to end. The side body panels that accentuate the overall body design. Good work.

Can't help but to wonder why does it's front kinda resembles the Hyundai Nexo? And it's interior air con vent and buttons panel kinda resembles Peugeot 3008?

This car could be much better..it has potential.. they just need to really invest more.. my observation, the core of the exterior design is great, it went a little far with that orange color lines, makes it immature.. the interior also went a little far with that PC gaming chair design, again makin it immature.. replace the cheap materials inside with descent ones..engine is ok, powertrain as a whole maybe ok..make this a good car and just raise the price a little bit and its perfect
