though I had some problem with sea water It also ruclips.net/user/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Thank you for replacing wildlife, filling in holes and removing sharp and dangerous trash. You are one of the more respectful metal detectors I have seen!
Well thank you! I always make sure to do the right things 1) because I want too and 2) because it's what we should ALL be doing. Otherwise it gives all of us a bad name. Not good! :)
You can and its easy, do what I did. Pack your shit and move! Quit waiting for the right time, it's never going to happen. Do yourself a favor, make a three to six month plan, grab your shit and go. It's the only way your going to get their. It's like having kids, there is never a perfect time.
Thank you so much for taking the garbage that you find with you to dispose of properly and not just leaving it where you found it. Really appreciate and respect that!
I know nothing about metal detecting but this video popped up and I thought it was cool how you were taking care of the beach and cleaning it up and saving the shells. Hope you’ve been finding some cool things! You rock!
Thanks for hauling out the garbage that finds it way onto our beaches! Some people are just too lazy to bring their trash to the closest trash can as they leave the beach.
I just bought my first detector and like your vids I like that you love the Sun, I love the Sun and I am always walking the beach can't wait to get back to Philippines and find some treasures
These comments, jeez. Has any semblance of class been completely removed from our society? Grow up and show her some respect. Yes, she is an attractive lady. But this is a video about metal detecting. The rude comments about her appearance are unnecessary. There's lots of other places on the internet that exclusively show hot women. If that's what you want, then go there.
Ben Hussain Your so angry. My roots are idian and irish. Im half you . Love yourself and others as you would want to be loved. Let go of the anger inside you. There is no benefit to being so.
Great vids. Love the fact you get straight to point and hunt. Nice gear as well, I can only afford my cheep little detector, $130 , but I still have great fun.keep up the videos.
Somebody is having a great time detecting on the beach. Great video and presentation. Thx for sharing and thx for picking up all the trash. Keep having fun.
What is a good small metal detector for going into old houses and trying to find them. I sometimes clean out hoarder houses. will they distinguish silver vs gold vs metal pipes in the walls?
A great land based coin hunting area is under football field bleachers especially if there is pea gravel under them. If you get permission to hunt these, you will fill up a coin jar fast.
when I was a kid middle school I found $3-$4 in coins after every Friday evening football game. I discovered it when I dropped two of my quarters and went under there to find them. I found other coins. But it was not easy to find at night since the football lights were shining mostly towards the football field. So I went on my bike the next saturday morning and what a nice little treasure spot. This became my saturday or sunday regular stop on my outings on my bike. Another good place was all the coin returns in the phone booths. In our small town we had about five of these coin phones outside. One day I found a few coins in one of the coin phones and repeatedly pressed the hangup button and each time it dropped a few coins. Did this until it was empty. I must have had $5 in coins. Keep in mind all these coins were pre 1964. Wish I had them now.

Hi there, I am from New Zealand and was looking into the Garrett Ace 350 but I see, the Treasure Cover Father and Son set, is around the same price. Do you have any advice which would be better? Apart from the fact you get two detectors with the cove set :) I thought it could be a fun mum and son thing to do :)
Been seeing this in my recommendations so I decided to watch and this was a pretty cool video! Keep up the good work! You have a new subscriber 😊 also your dog is super cute!

@@DOEglowboy don't think of all kids and people who metal detect at the beach as people who don't fill in holes though. I have seen people stereotype all metal detectorists saying that they are ripping up land and leaving huge holes because they saw one person doing it. If that made any sense.
I would do a quick sweep of the most popular beach entrances first if the tide is still high as an hour spent there should give you an idea of how busy the beach may have been the day before if you go around 5-6 am! 5-6If the tide is pretty low or heading out head there and save the dry sand hunting for later. Work your way up or down depending on the direction of the tide. If there are areas that seem to produce regularly hit those first. A pretty good beach hunt will tell you where holes are where the heavier gold and silver rings settle most of the time so hit those first! The holes move as the tides reshape the beach so they only stay in one area for a few days at most. Try to see where the rip currents are headed and follow them down the beach to where they are pretty strong and a tiny thing like you has to be careful you don't get caught and drawn out to sea!
That's a good idea! I might be able to head out early sunday morning. The hurricane in the gulf might pull the water out and allow me to get out deeper but not have to worry about the water. We shall see!
Your so respectful for the wildlife, you picked up garbage as you went along. And you may have been a bit sad that you didn’t find much but you helped wildlife! Not much people do that. 😊
Whenever possible, would you please identify your coins with the year, mint mark, condition to us? Part of the fun is thinking about the history and mystery that brought each coin to you. Thank you! Keep up the great work.
So a guy thinks a woman on RUclips is pretty, that automatically makes him creepy? I suppose if it were women finding her attractive that would be OK with the SJWs? Very sad.. Personally, I think she's a very lovely young woman and it's nice she has an interest in metal detecting, as do I.

Getting the obligatory creepy "cutie pie detected" comment out of the way, I'm actually most impressed that you take the time to haul off that junk too. That shredded can wouldn't have done some other beachgoer's foot any good. I also sling a plastic shopping bag on my belt (next to the onion) when beach detecting for this purpose. Well done, young lady! Carry on and may a gold doubloon in the sands be your reward.
It's amazing how garbage people just toss on the beach or into the water, like it's going to just disappear or something. Thank you for picking up the trash. I suspect the metal item could be part of a gun. Make you own electrolysis unit, google it. Looks super easy to make. Thanks for the upload.

I spent $4287 on a metal detector, go pro, computer, shovel, sunscreen lotion and some water, and to date I am happy to report I've found over $2.13 worth of valuables. What a high.
Look up the boot of Cortez; guy found a three pound chunk of gold shaped like a boot with a low end RadioShack detector in the desert, the DESERT, just under the surface in the seventies when gold was cheap.
A beautiful day at a beautiful beach !!! I recently learned that Canada no longer makes or uses pennies so if you find any they might be worth hanging on to. Oh my gosh no!!! I worry about the animals getting ahold of the garbage and dying for it. I always take it when I can. I've only left a few things behind, like when I found half a tie at one of the island. I couldn't take that. :(
The cylinder you found was probably from an old ship wreck as there are hundreds of wrecks in and around Florida and the gulf/Caribbean area.... From centuries ago up to modern times- the Hurricanes can definitely move pieces from the wrecks to shore
well at least you found some coins and the army corps of engineers did rearrange the beach sand like at garden city sc. course now the last hurricane rearranged the army corps of engineers work lol. always enjoy your hunts for sure. thanks for sharing
Great that you show the gear you use and say the names . Who couldn't have fun doing what you do. My guess on the big chunk of (Iron ?) is boat hardware for rigging or hand rail that a rope goes through.
Even though metal detecting isnt my biggest hobby, I need to go to this island to get money for my HO scale train layout. I do have a cheap metal detector which can find any metals.
I love going metal detecting in the woods and mountains and I find bullets and guns mostly but I found a medal once that might have been a ww2 medal or something and I go medal detecting in Ukraine and I find a bunch of bullets and guns
I like that when you fond trash linke cans and stuff you dont throw it away you keep it because some people claim that they clean the Beach of all of the trash but the only keep the gold stuff. You just Gained a subscriber 😁😊
I know what you mean. I've heard of people digging targets and when they see it's trash, they just put it back in the hole. :( That's not how we do things in my book! Well thank you. And thanks for watching!
The place we've been going to on St. Thomas for years always has good sea glass on the beach. One time we went right after a big storm and I brought home handfuls of beautiful glass and tile pieces. I'm anxious to go back and see what the hurricane churned up.
Why is it every woman who has a channel and is young has creepy dudes making comments about the way they look? It's pathetic creepy dudes, go be creepy on a porn sight, your comments make me sick. Also interesting video, well done.

Great video!
Ye
The cylinder you found was probably from an old ship wreck as there are hundreds of wrecks in and around Florida and the gulf/Caribbean area.... From centuries ago up to modern times- the Hurricanes can definitely move pieces from the wrecks to shore
Awesome Watching 🇦🇺

Hello 🇺🇸
So, it looks like an enjoyable hobby. What has been the best item that you have found so far in your hobby?
Good on you...
well at least you found some coins and the army corps of engineers did rearrange the beach sand like at garden city sc. course now the last hurricane rearranged the army corps of engineers work lol. always enjoy your hunts for sure. thanks for sharing
Yea, you're right about that. Better than nothing! :) Hahahaha! Thank you! And thanks for watching!
So jelly. I wish I could spend the day metal detecting.
Great that you show the gear you use and say the names . Who couldn't have fun doing what you do. My guess on the big chunk of (Iron ?) is boat hardware for rigging or hand rail that a rope goes through.
Yea, you could be right it being hand rail. I wouldn't be surprised.
nice!
I like how you take away the garbage as you hunt for treasure
Even though metal detecting isnt my biggest hobby, I need to go to this island to get money for my HO scale train layout.
I do have a cheap metal detector which can find any metals.
Cool video! English detectorist here watching all the way from the UK. Wish we had beaches like that here.. And weather 🤣
#thedukesofderbyshire
I love going metal detecting in the woods and mountains and I find bullets and guns mostly but I found a medal once that might have been a ww2 medal or something and I go medal detecting in Ukraine and I find a bunch of bullets and guns
Golden Plays did the guns work? Or were they collectible worthy?
I like that when you fond trash linke cans and stuff you dont throw it away you keep it because some people claim that they clean the Beach of all of the trash but the only keep the gold stuff. You just Gained a subscriber 😁😊
I know what you mean. I've heard of people digging targets and when they see it's trash, they just put it back in the hole. :( That's not how we do things in my book! Well thank you. And thanks for watching!
It was doomsday in florida after the hurricane for a week ....
The place we've been going to on St. Thomas for years always has good sea glass on the beach. One time we went right after a big storm and I brought home handfuls of beautiful glass and tile pieces. I'm anxious to go back and see what the hurricane churned up.
Oh cool. :) That would be awesome to see! :D
Why is it every woman who has a channel and is young has creepy dudes making comments about the way they look? It's pathetic creepy dudes, go be creepy on a porn sight, your comments make me sick. Also interesting video, well done.
You will be old and creepy someday too.
Adam Carter it's getting to the point that you can't even compliment a girl now days without someone criticizing your compliment.
👍 Adam
I agree, it only works due to the abundance of pervert type guys though. I'm just sick of these dudes on every comment section of youtube. There's ones where the woman isn't being sexy and the guys are still perving out, it's pathetic.
You don't agree??? Why be a pervert here? there are plenty of porn places to perv out.
Thanks for not throwing the trash back on the beach. That's good metal detecting etiquette.
keep swinging gold will show up!!
Your shadow looks badass lol. Cool video! I'm near Tarpon Springs, definitely considering a metal detector
one of those dimes is a silver dime =Mercury
What part of the beach do you stay focused on when looking for coin?
