      So right. Nevermind the fact a runaway of that age is at great risk and is likely being abused at home, if they actually are a runaway, which is a slim possiblity.

      Ava Renee they actually did! One of the witnesses did call the cops as soon as he realized that the boy had gone missing, but the cops never went to his house. Later someone did go to get his testimony but that person wasn’t a cop, it was a secret agent Noreen had hired since the cops weren’t helping.

      They may have not thought anything of it at the time? OR they simply just didn't want the cops on their cases? Or they were a victim of the bystander affect ( Thinking someone else will do something) ?

    Im so lucky to be alive. Most thanks to my brother. Though he is autistic...he was smarter than me when it came to strangers. He was always next me me playing outside . I remember when i was 5 or 6 years old one time playing in my front yard and a limo outside my house tried to convince me to go for a spin around the block but my brother he held me back. Skip fwd some 6-7 years he was the one who always woke up @5am to go delivery papers with me. (My mom was a single parent at the time ...working 2-3 jobs to put foof on the table, clothes on ours backs, and a roof over oue heads ... so my brother and i were by ouselves a lot). I love my brother!

    The “cop” was probably not an actual cop. He probably went to the game (a place filled with children) to scope out and target a victim. Johnny was probably spotted and targeted when he went to go get the popcorn. I’m assuming the “cop” started grooming him and got Johnny comfortable enough and Johnny probably let him know about his paper route the next day. I bet the “cop” told Johnny he should try going on his own and because Johnny did he became an easy target. The strange cars everyone saw and the random men seen were probably all part of the same sex trafficking group unfortunately and that’s how he was taken so easily.. ☹️

    • @hanniebananieee
      @hanniebananieee 6 лет назад +229

      Yea I agree and plus Johnny said "I want to be a police officer" so maybe the "cop" asked him his address to lure him into thinking he took take Johnny somewhere, and Johnny asked to go by himself.

      There was a crooked chief of police in this town at the time he was taken. Noreen has spoken about this many times. His first name was Orval and he acted weird from day one. I have always wondered if he was involved in something shady with Johnny's father? Not necessarily child abuse but maybe some other illegal activity. I am pretty sure that Johnny's Dad was blackmailed or compromised at some point after the kidnapping. (maybe even before- though less likely). I don't know how but there are many things in the case that point to this. As in the Franklin Credit Union Case - many people had to be silenced and our leaders- local and even national have played a part. Noreen is divorced for good reason- more than we will ever know. If the father was compromised before the actual kidnapping not after- this story would be hugely different. I would view the whole thing differently so of course I am speaking for myself. I can't believe the lengths that were taken to cover up both of these stories. It would be even more mind blowing if some of the Franklin case had not come into the light.

      @myianikol 6 лет назад +90

      Yes I was also thinking this except I was thinking the cop was real for the fact they knew where he lived and maybe that's why there was such a cover up. Maybe there was crooked cops who helped in this, they got big time money and then that's how the kidnappers got all their information, and never get caught cuz they have police protection.

      When my daughter was 11 months old, she drowned. I had to pull her out of the water and give her CPR. I panicked at first but I pulled myself together. Even when I was in the hospital and they told me she was "very sick" which means they weren't sure they'd be able to fix her, I still didn't cry. I had to kept it together or I would have been a mess and no good to anyone including her. It's okay for a mother to not show everyone what she's really feeling. Sometimes you have to hold it in if that's what keeps you going.

      Raven and Roni - I am so sorry! Are your kiddos ok?! Only thing even remotely close was being a live in nanny for an infant and 2 toddlers only a year apart. Went to fix a bottle for the baby, who I was holding when I heard giggles, the dryer door shut and the dryer turn on. Don't remember how I got from the kitchen to the basement but I remember holding that baby like he was a football carry that would win the Superbowl - held him so tight and close. Didn't yell. Simply said "We don't put people in the dryer" like it was an everyday phrase. Made sure they weren't hurt and walking back upstairs, there was milk and the bottle on the floor. My sandal that snuck off when I ran. I broke a toe that curled underneath while running. Took like an hour before I realized it was broke. I would be in shambles if I ever had to perform CPR on someone I love or saw them fall into a fire. You ladies have some seriously admirable strength! ❤

      Fortunately, I don't personally know anybody whose child has been dissapeared/kidnapped. I wouldn't be surprised if a parent (mum, dad or both) get some perscription meds from the doctor so they won't collapse. I don't claim it was the case with his parents, it just makes me angry that parents (especially moms) should be out of their minds, cry and shout 24/7.

      I hope you are joking but it is not that dangerous out there. Smothering your child and not allowing them to live will create even more vulnerable children.
      Instead teach your children to be smart and cautious. Always be watching, always know their surroundings. Scream, be loud, be hard to take. When you are out, quiz your kids. Ask them what looks wrong when you go to the park or on a street. Ask them if someone grabbed them what would they do.
      Raise smart kids not scared kids.

      I know! I was thinking the same thing. Like maybe the policeman told Johnny he could be part of an undercover fake sting or something Sunday morning and that's why he wanted to go alone. Also, I still think there's something odd about the phone call and the way the father responded that night/morning JG was abducted. I wonder if Noreen sought to find the cop that was talking to Johnny under the bleachers (WEIRD!!!) or maybe the cop had a fake uniform on. IDK. But it is such a strange case and so sad that Johnny was such a sweet kid and his whole life (and his family's) was destroyed by scumbag pedophiles. Ugh. I wish Noreen and John had taken lie detector tests. Then if John (the dad) was lying at least something would register (unless he's a psychopath and has no guilt). I believe Noreen is telling the truth. God bless her. The abductors didn't know who they were dealing with when they took Johnny. She and John Walsh have done so much for missing and exploited children.

    I heard a crazy story a few years back when listening to a Johnny Gosh documentary. A lady that was at some sort of rest stop or gas station somewhere in Iowa a few years after Johnny’s disappearance (my details might be shaky, it’s been a while), she said that she saw some young boys on the side or back of the building as she was walking out of the gas station and as she was getting into her car, a young teenage boy came up to her saying that he was a missing kid named Johnny Gosh and to please help him. She said the kids seemed very frantic and scared, but right at that exact moment a few grown men walked up and grabbed the boys, yelled at them and forced them to come with them. She could tell that the men definitely had power and control over the boys.The woman felt helpless because she was by herself and way out numbered with a few men who seemed “not so nice!” Of course she reported it but nothing ever came of it because obviously she didn’t know what happened to the kid that claimed to be Johnny and the other boys he was with. They took off real fast and within a minute, the interaction was over. She never even thought to get a license plate number. I thought that was a very important part to the story and I was surprised it wasn’t mentioned. However you did mention a few times that there was a lot of stuff you had to leave out because of time restraints, so I get it

      LuLuLand13 Some could argue she's making profit off these individuals and what has happened to them. But i think it would be better if she was able to make a profit off these videos, so that she can keep making more videos like this. That just gets the word out about more stories, more missing people, etc.

    I was almost kidnapped too when I was 11, 2 men on a motorbike came towards me as I left my house and because my house was on a high platform, it saved my life. By the time the man behind the driver came at me, I managed to run back and take the screen door with me which gave me an additional few seconds to close the main door! The man banged on the door a few times and left and my gran came up behind me and asked what happened. When I told her, she ran and told my dad and uncle. They chased the 2 men which ended up busting a massive sex trafficking ring, where they took the kids across the country. I sometimes forget about the whole experience but when I think about it, it sends chills down my spine. I can still see the moment of fear I felt as I got the feeling these men coming down the street on motorbikes where not right :(

      Haha Khan - Good lord! How utterly terrifying! Thank heavens you were so quick to act. May I ask what year this was? Sometimes it is possible to track the actions of the public and police by the era of the event. I am a kid of the 60s and 70s, lower-middle-class neighborhood. The only creepy thing I recall was that there was this guy driving around exposing himself to young girls, one of whom was my neighbor. The only thing our parents told us was if we saw him to not go over to his car and stay in our yards.

      I'd love them to do this case on there podcast as I've followed this and kendal is right there is so much more information on this to be able to cover in a shorter video. The more you delve into it the sicker it becomes. He apparently was saw in white house using another name which had same initials JG. And he also, went to see his mum at one point she claimed asking her to stop looking for him. Also the horrors that Paul B said he witnessed with younger Johnny was just vile. I think it's possible that they have messed him up so much that he has maybe went from the kidnapped to kidnapper. Paul B also said they were being used in sex trafficking for ppl in the Whitehouse and in one case witnessed a young boy being violently raped my a prominent figure while pal and Johnny were being raped by others then, they witnessed the other boy being shot in the head while they were in a cage and told to shut up or they were next.If Paul made that up he's one sick person but tbh I believe him. As he knew too much about secret ways that they were taken into the white house etc...This is so unbelievably sad. I couldn't live if my child was going through torture like that! Men who are dirty scumbag pedos in position of power and who abuse should get castrated! Same thing happened in UK with the BBC which I call the British beasts channel. The pics kendal is talking about I've saw and would be heartbreaking for a parent to see.

    When I was 11 years old, I noticed a gas company truck following the bus. When I got off the bus, I was already on high alert. I got off the bus and began walking to my house. We lived on a culdesac so my house was only a few houses down. The man driving the truck pulled up next to me and complimented me. I said thank you and kept walking. Then he told me how cute I was and kept saying he “loves my bow legs” and then he asked me to get in the car. He was coaxing me to get in the car. I ran to the house, locked the door and called my mom. That’s when I saw him and another man (also dressed in the local gas company uniform) at the door telling me to come out of the house.
    THIS IS SO REAL.

      I thought it was a grooming situation. Like the cop was a trafficker just dressed as a cop to get kids to trust him. He might have promised a cool trip or something because remember the night before he went missing he randomly told his mom that no matter what, he loves her and that she’s the best. And wanted to do the route alone that morning. I think they made a deal to meet up and maybe Johnny got sketched out last minute but it was too late

      I'm late here but that's not true at all. Back then we all knew as much as you know now. We were taught in class all the time. We had special assemblies to learn about these things. I even remember learning what to do if I was put in a trunk and what to scream and how to scream if I needed help that would draw the most attention. Parents had access to the news and newspapers and kidnapping and sexual abuse sold papers back then just like today. We knew. Our parents knew.

      Trina B. I’ve never had an affair but I would know better than to have that person called me on the same day at the same time EVERY week. That would be too obvious. I think he had no control because the person who was calling him was higher up and made the rules. He only “received” calls. Plus the mom talks about how he didn’t want to search for Johnny and was delaying the search and hindering information every chance he got

      They were receiving calls at the same time for weeks. John always picked up and said "no, no" but that day was the only day he said "yes, all right, yes all right.
