Used police handguns are cheaper than most used handguns. But sometimes they sell for a premium at gun shops. If the police stops selling their handgun there still will be used guns for sale. Not everyone can afford a new handgun.

Well, I have an LE trade-in. Needless to say, I'm not committing crimes with it.
Sounds like the police trade in got two birds with one stone.
Crime will always be committed.
We just need to educate the criminals on the gun laws we have on the books.

All gun crime victims families have every right to know the identities of the people that made and sold the gun, parts and bullets and to know if those persons are retired cops, police, municipal or state employee or military family, if that shop is invested in with police, municipal or state employees personal or pension monies or if it was sold in a shop similarly staffed or intermingled with monies from those sources.
