@@LastLineOfDefense Me Too 😬 but it’s for a great cause and as I think of my 2 daughters being victims of sex trafficking and such my heart breaks and it was an easy decision to donate. Would love to win the truck and it would be a tremendous blessing but if not the $ goes toward a worthy cause and just hope my few dollars in comparison to what is needed will help even a little bit. Thanks you for your efforts with the truck and more importantly for the dire trafficking situation
That Kuhl Artik jacket you had looked sweet. I have one in the blackout colorway and i'd agree it's not as warm as it looks although it is pretty warm, but if i'm extending my time outside camping or hiking i'd toss on a merino wool layer and my Kuhl "The one" jacket under the Arktik as base layers.

Nice jackets I have a couple of the arcteryx atom jackets and I absolutely love them perfect for southeastern winters
I love my TrueWerk S4 Tower Parka for working construction, seems decently water repellent from what I've noticed. Very warm, and velcro sleeve cuffs that are large enough to go over a pair of thick gloves.

The Kuhl jacket is amazing! I have it and it's super warm. Also the hood when it surrounds your head really muffles sound It's great

Ski jackets are what I buy. With the velcro flap on down the front. Quick on off. And zippers cause the jacket to bunch up where just having the top velcro'ed lets it splay when you sit down.
Oh, and living/growing up in colorado. It's better to have a wind breaker and ski jackets are mostly that.

The shell on the Arcteryx cold wx is what gives it its warmth. It being totally windproof makes it a ridiculously warm jacket considering how light it is.

Love my Kuhl Joyryder. I have a green one that's a couple of years old now and I wear it as a jacket all the time during the winter. Want to pick up another one but haven't yet.
I wonder at 180cm height which Kühl Arktik would fit me the best. I want this jacket but I can only buy it from US and UK cause I'm in Switzerland. Was just wondering which size would fit. L or XL...

Nice mix of jackets. Maybe do a hardcore winter/rain jacket video sometime in the future. My favorite extreme cold jacket is the Fjällräven Yupik Parka.

I watched you build that truck from start to finish. I seen it in person at the outdoor show in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. And it’s even more sweet in person than in video
Can you still fit a hoody under that Vertx Integrity +P jacket? I wear a Vertx Manitou and Integrity Base jacket all the time if it’s above like 10 degrees. I whip out my Wiggys parka below 10 degrees. But I’d prefer a jacket with better pockets and more flexibility.
Vertex has LT delta pants that need to be reviewed next. 🤙🏼

I need a sherpa-lined flannel, like that Kuul, but with a fleece hood, like a regular sweatshirt hoodie. I have yet to find one I really like, with deep enough pockets that don't have that silly nylon lining.

I like a lot of Patagonia jackets.
You don't find the Kuhl jackets running small? I like their jackets but I've found I always have to size up at least one size to get a similar fit/feel to everyone else's.

@Last Line Of Defence how has the vertx jacket insulation held up to daily wear / compression? I found that some of my Arc’teryx atom’s were losing quite a bit of loft from sitting in vehicles, pack straps etc. the vertx seems to check the boxes
It's been holding up well, still very warm for its size/weight.

I went to diamondbacks site after you posted this. They say there are 8k donors. If at a minimum they bought a 25$ patch, that’s $200k. I bought a tee shirt, so the number can obviously change. 200k for an organization most of us have never heard of, and only came to light bc of you and the push, is nothing to be down about. Just think if you never made this truck, they wouldn’t have had all the extra advertising and community support to fight human trafficking.

if you had to pick the kuhl "law" or "arktik" for everyday weekend jacket. minimum temp doesn't get below 25 degrees here in NC
Law is a better hard use jacket, Arktik is probably a better casual / daily jacket

Envious. I too wish to have two thousand dollars worth of jackets. But I'm in Virginia so it's far less justified. I have a beyond Cetra set which I love, my patagonia micro puff, and some hoodies pretty much. The kuhl looks like it may be the best option for me personally.

I have that jacket for daily running around uses. Good running or hiking jacket but don’t take it out camping or into the bush. It’ll get damaged for sure.
