Thank you for this video! My schedule has been all over the place and I needed a pick me up! Cause it isn't a bad job it's just been a crazy week! You are better than me for being so flexible I have to bend in order to grow! Thanks girl
@@KamyiahLover aw 🥹 no problem remember it’s all temporary. and your confidence will grow over time for sure and once you’re confident n your work it flows like clock work then boom ur running things. Wishing u the best
Were you trained or just thrown into it? I started last month and I feel mixed feelings. I kinda was thrown into it and started by taking messages for the PM and APM and literally WINGING the tours. I didn’t even get a tour when I started lol. I learn like 1% more every day…. I want to love it but idk. I’m not getting any feedback or coaching nothing. But the future residents I talk to on the phone and your say I’m doing great when I tell them I’m new so 😆
@@Ddeath.Eaterr there was a mix. I was trained very well she’s my bestie now actually lol you have to start in Luxury honestly everything else is so overwhelming but I thrive in chaos so either or works for me
Girl me & you both. Completely thrown in , and going with the flow and taking notes as I go. I believe once you get a better understanding of your property and give yourself a to do list & plan for the next day
lol the times I tell myself “okay? Want a cookie??” lol 😂 like girl that’s your responsibility! lol and it’s always the worst people saying they are a great tenant lol.
It can honestly be a much easier job if management didn’t stress cyclical things, like trend. We all Know that there’s always a slow point in the year.
Hi! I really enjoyed your video...I'm currently a teacher's assistant and have a second job working as an after school advisor. I want to transition into the leasing field. My biggest question is can you truly afford to live off the salary/ commissions? I understand that there are many factors that play into this question, so what I really want to know is do leasing agents usually work or have to work a second job? #newsubscriber
if u work for luxury no. ( because rent is high ) if u work for a regular apartment with around 300 units yes. ( bc rent is priced normal ) I definitely had a 2nd job for the winter because those are slow months , but I used those months to my advantage. it’s a temporary job lease for 2 yrs & move up 🥹 plus companies give their agents a discount if u choose to rent with the company , so it’s possible but I wouldn’t suggest it starting out
My route that i dream for myself: leasing agent - Prop Manager - Broker
I been property manager for 3 years and I salute you for sharing this valuable information with those that are interested in this position.

That’s funny I did the same thing in January, sooooo much happier ! I don’t miss the children at all
@@imtashera I love the kids but I wouldn’t be able to travel like I do now. I feel better I’ve grown so much etc.
