  • Blood magic, one of the most frustrating and difficult magic paths to learn and understand in Dominions 6, but I'm here to help throw some tips your way, and easy guidelines to follow to make it much more simple to pursue, without needing to get another bachelor's degree to pull it off.

Thank you guys so much for the comments! How is blood magic going for you? Let me know, and maybe we'll take a deep dive in the future, showing a full blood magic focused game!

Thank you, will do! Just uploaded a video on communions that hopefully helps simplify that for you guys! Do you prefer more "general idea" videos, or "nation specific" ones?

General probably better. But you know what types of videos we lack? Some stuff about early wars, and early magic. When and how many mages to pull off research, what spells each school has as go-tos for the 1st war, etc. Examples of how to set up mages to point buff, or evocation spam, etc

@@ivan-to2zy Ooh, excellent idea! I'll start working on that one tomorrow mid-morning, and hopefully I'll have something decent together by the night-time. I won't post it for another day or two, just so I can get some serious detail in there, but I'll show you various applicable scenarios for that as well (as well as my thoughts on "how" to keep eyes off of you, so you don't become a victim of early coalitions!).
      Thanks for the suggestion!

@@AOReaper excellent! While I already have a decent idea what's what it still helps to get more perspectives and would be extra helpful for new players. Good to know what spells each magic type should rush. Got air? Rush summoning air eles and light ING strikes.
Got earth, rush alteration buffs and earth maw (which is conveniently also in alteration), etc.
