This is so awesome!!! Nice job on the tour and the deals that you can get are amazing. I will surely have to visit Montenegro without a doubt. Thank You for sharing this. :).
@kims1912 The lake view look nice and good value etc but not sure what living full time in Montenegro would be like ?? Maybe as a second home if you had a direct flight ?
It’s a Bay view not a lake, I can understand why you would think that though if you’re not familiar with the country. Regarding full time in Montenegro, it is different for everyone, some will say the same of Florida or Hawaii etc. however it’s easy enough to get a plane when desired to travel. Driving, busses, ferries, and trains are options also.
@@WarrenJulieTravel Hi, i watched the german video and i will be in Montenegro on the 18th February, can you send me the contact for your realtor? thanks i send you an email right now.
Actually, i am in Thailand now but i am considering a visit/stay to Montenegro in the Summer, i may want to reach out to your realtor to check out some inexpensive options. Thanks W & J
Thanks for these wonderful tours! Love the underfloor heating in the first apartment. Speaking of which, how are energy costs in Montenegro compared with the US, for example?
Hi Guys, I have been following you since the beginning of the pandemic! I am one of those people who loves my mountains even more than the sea.... I would love to see a video like this about what kind of property opportunities there might be in some of the more inland, mountainous areas. I imagine that the property prices are even more affordable away from the coast. I am wondering if it is possible to find a small house with a quarter to half acre piece of land? I'd love to see a video like that from you guys! :o)
Thank you for watching us!! Wow, that’s wonderful We are working on a relationship with someone for the mountain properties and we hope to be able to showcase those soon.
Thank you for the real estate tours. Would you say that Lustica peninsula is a better value than Tivat? Which one has better amenities (walk to a grocery store, health clinic, etc.)? Or is there a place near the water you'd recommend (not covered by the shadow of the mountains)?

It would be really useful to have your estimate for lets say 10 years of average medical expenses. Especially considering your experience in medical insurance. Worst case scenario is most interesting. Lets say a couple of 55yo buying this condo for 150k and in 10 years getting through stroke, 2 heart attacks, coronary bypass, and some mundane surgeries like hernia and cataract. How much would it cost in Montenegro with insurance options 1,2,3.. or without insurance if you are MN citizen.
@@davegordon6233 Thank you for your comment. I’m not entirely sure of your intent with your question regarding medical costs abroad and insurance, but I want to address it as clearly as possible. Unfortunately, it’s impossible for me to provide specific answers about your personal circumstances without knowing numerous details, such as the type of insurance you have, your deductible, the dates of any medical events, or the specific treatments involved inflation over 10 years. Additionally, estimating out-of-pocket costs for various surgeries or scenarios is highly situational and varies widely. I couldn’t possibly give an estimate on a 10 year period. Quite frankly no one can answer your question as laid out. What I can share is that medical insurance and out-of-pocket medical expenses abroad are generally much lower than in the United States. Montenegro, for instance, offers adequate medical and hospital care, but it’s not among the top-tier healthcare systems in Europe. For serious events you may choose to go to Croatia, Serbia, or Italy. If you have a genuine question about international medical insurance or healthcare abroad, I’d be happy to help clarify further within the scope of what I can reasonably provide. Thank you for understanding. You can look at plans and run quotes at warrenjulietravel.com
@@WarrenJulieTravel hmmmm, I guess I was just a little surprised how small the apartments were, compared to what we have over here in S.E Asia. looking at those bedrooms, seems to me one has a choice: either have a bed or a wardrobe lol. While Montenegro looks lovely, I am wondering about future security, especially as Russia becomes more aggressive in its campaign to expand its territory...
@@swanvictor887 just so you know, Russia is about 1000 miles from Montenegro. Montenegro is also part of NATO. Russia would have to go through Romania after they got through Ukraine and decide if they’re going to try to enlist Serbia to get to Montenegro, which of course would be World War III since Montenegro is NATO.

I covered this elsewhere, however out of 96k foreigners in Montenegro 26k are Russian. They are the largest group of foreigners, however they are the primary sellers on the market. Yes some are buy also, I have no issues with the Russians here. This said you seem to be planting a seed of resentment with the comment. The buying from elsewhere in the world in Montenegro is outpacing that of Russians which probably has at best a population holding at current levels and possibly declining.
@@WarrenJulieTravel I worked and lived i Russia for many years and know the region and various business models. 🥇 Excellent tours, thanks guys! Were those central a/c compressors (outside) on #3/4? LOVE the views on #4/5!! 😍
Yes they are.

Good question! They are considerably less expensive than the US.
Such a great content! Would it be possible to see more homes starting from the 50k mark?
We are hoping to provide additional low cost properties, but there are not many in this region.
Thanks for watching:)
after you brought the house, are you entitled to stay there for long time like years ?
You need to apply for residency, home ownership is grounds for residency. You must renew each year, and live in the country 10 months.

Lustica is growing and thus so are the facilities as well
Tivat is currently considerably larger. They are both a great value

Thanks for the tours! What kind of internet speeds are available?
I am not certain about the exact speeds available, but we have no issues with our internet and we stream often and create content.
Not dollars, but on a percentage basis if that's practical, about how much more in income related taxes are you all paying by filing in Montenegro?
We are currently not paying income taxes in Montenegro as our income is not derived in this country and we don’t have residency.
@@WarrenJulieTravel I'm shipping my overland rig from the US to Antwerp later this year for a 2-year European tour. Maybe I'll run into you all.

where are you supposed to keep your clothes? Hire a lock-up garage somewhere?
In Europe most people have a wardrobe closet, built in closets are rare. Of course dressers etc can be easily found, furnish as desired.
