Some excellent choices for best places to buy in 2025, Giorgio! Especially since three of my top places in Italy made the list - Perugia, Vicenza and Turin. Retirement is still two years away, but I'd better buy something soon because property prices keep going up, up, up. Thanks for another great video!
After I raised up to 325k trading with her I bought a new House and a car here in the states 🇺🇸🇺🇸 also paid for my son's surgery (Oscar). Glory to God.shalom.
Great video Giorgio as always. I like the stock footage, but would be good to have a quick glance of where the cities are located on the map, just a pointer for you. Look forward to the next one 😄
Yes! Nailed it! What I was waiting to hear . ❤ If you please where is the place at the start of this video ? The highway along side is in such a beautiful setting. ❤ Thank you so much
This is a great video. I am only worried about safety and crime in Italy. I have seen too many reports about violent crimes in Italy. Maybe you could do a video about the safest regions of Italy.
I love this video and I've watched a lot! I am a single older woman, accustomed to living in progressive areas, NY and Los Angeles - my wish list? Progressive, but laid back, beautiful scenery, great food, combination of expats and Italians, access to trains and airports, easy to get to nature - I would like to buy something in the $150 - $200K range, it can be small, something I can call my own. You've suggested so many wonderful spots, but they are so scattered (in a good way) what would you recommend? Thanks! Great post!
@@LisaMQuinn I actually would have a built in community there, 3 old friends, not besties, but welcoming and a good friend's family would help get me started. I do like the North, but I haven't scouted Sicily yet. It's definitely appealing and I will look there on my recon trip. Thank you for sharing.
It's surprising that Catania isn't included on the list. Property prices are very affordable, at around €1,500 per square meter in the city center. Plus Catania has the largest airport in Sicily, a vibrant nightlife, and is a popular destination for digital nomads.
I really like Catania and it would have made a top 20 list. I do feel though that Siracusa and Palermo are nicer cities but of course other people may have a different opinion.
I would suggest to avoid anything below Rome, particularly if you are interested in moving for retirement. A nice place is good, but generally speaking south lacks of many basic services.
I would have to disagree with this based on my experience and the experience I have heard from many expats that live in South Italy. Private medical healthcare is also very cheap. It is certainly much better than the UK. Of course places like Trieste in the north ( a fantastic city) medical care is just beyond incredible. The only thing I would say that in regions like Basilicata the train connections are not good and need improving. Sadly the citiy with the highest crime rate in Italy is Milan ( a city I worked in for two years) and a lot of the cities with the highest number of crimes are northern cities like Rimini and Bologna.
@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 Let me put in a different perspective: north Italy is packed with people from south. we can't say the contrary. so if buying a real estate is done for tourism, that's fine, but for living..no.
@@ripi4057 Sorry but I disagree for an expat it can be an amazing lifestyle to live in the south of Italy. Good weather, good food and medical care is good as well plus even if you go private it is cheap. Most digital nomads or retirees are not looking to find work in a company in Italy. Of course I also recommend two of my favorite cities Trieste and Torino where property is cheap and a very high standard of living as well.
Dear all I would love to know where you are considering buying Real Estate in Italy or if you have already bought a property in which city/town/village did you buy?
We bought in Chianni (Pisa region) but are selling for a bigger yard for our pups. Our house is a beautiful Centro ground level with a garden, jacuzzi, gated condo parking and saltwater pool shared by four families. I hear Chianni was the top property search in Tuscany and second in Italy last year so hopefully it will have a new family to love it soon. Buon Anno a tutti!

Many thanks Mike. So far in the three cities you like prices have hardly risen but this will probably not last. A very Happy New Year to you.
Thank you very much for choosing Trieste my family‘s hometown - you should also mention the spectacular coastline of Trieste
Thanks for your feedback Trieste. I hope the footage demonstrated the wonderful coastline.
I always look forward to these videos Giorgio. Thank you and Felice Capodanno
Grazie Lauri. Felice anno nuovo.
I'm favoured $130k every 4weeks! I now have a good house and can now afford anything and also support my family
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly? I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
That's great!! .I don't know anything about investing and I intend to start. What are your strategies?
Thanks to my co-worker (Alex) who suggested Ms Claudia Ann Brandon.

Great to see you guys talking about her, she changed the game for me.
I am an expat living in Turin. The city is amazing and improving over the last few years. Great quality of life, especially for the price.
Agree 100% Turin is an amazing city and property is not expensive.

Many thanks NS for your feedback. Wishing you a Happy New Year.

Many thanks Maria. It is Atrani on the Amalfi coast.

Many thanks Bruce. Italy is a fairly safe country especially compared to the US. Yes I will definitely consider doing a video on this topic.

Many thanks Janet for your positive feedback. I would say a 1 bed apartment in Turin or Trieste could suit.
Sicily for community and warmth of people, quality of life, climate

So much to love about Catania, especially the accessibility to the nearby villages...
Catania is certainly a nice city

Im too conservative to put italy on top of my list over good old
Gran Bretagna😂
LOL I just woke up and first videos suggested by youtube were Britain is cooked and Leave the UK.
@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 youtobe lying to you😂Farage is gonna take over soon and his slogan is "make Gran Bretagna Gran again"😂😂
LOL UK politicians are determined to destroy the country.
Thanks for your great information, so which area is good price to house,? How much is one bedroom house please,
My pleasure. You can generally find cheaper houses in the regions of Calabria and Sicilly. There are not many one bedroom houses in Italy.
The cathedral in Perugia is not amazingly beautiful.
Thomas most peoople I have spoken to think the cathedral is beautiful but of course everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
