There’s a stigma of geekiness with metal detecting I get a lot of interest when a client of mine is getting tattooed by me making for very topical conversation keep it up fella I’ve learnt a lot I have a stately home to detect soon your more than welcome is Staffordshire
You wife will like it when you find gold rings, diamond rings, pendants and ear rings. I found a $15,000 Cartier gold and diamond bracelet on a beach. There is stuff out there, and pull tabs and bent nails!
David this is a triumph mate, I've got to get me own one after watching this. Proper white knuckle day at the seaside, and I bet it's quite a magnet for the local intelligentsia. Salut'
Is that a Garrett Pro-Pointer with Patented Proportional Audio/Vibration Patented scraping blade for searching soil Twice the battery life of other pinpointers with LED lights. Pinpointing tip and 360° detection area Woven belt holster and 9-volt battery ...in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?
I swear blind that detector is fecked! It bloody bleeps randomly once and doesn't do it again! 😂😂 Go get yourself a nice Minelab X Terra that'll be far better 😁 329 quid
Apologies if this has been mentioned and I missed it, but I’ve been curious… When returning to a large area multiple times (more like the farmer’s field) how do you keep track of what ground you’ve covered?
@@SongBillong Yeah could be. Might just be my obsessive nature but looking for such small items I would be so paranoid about missing something. Like when you mow a lawn it’s clear to see what you’ve done already, and you still slightly overlap each line to ensure not missing a spot. I feel like I’d end up detecting over the same ground about twenty times just to be sure 😂
Naomi must get in the mood when David dresses like a Father Ted extra in the field and in this video he dresses like an unemployed conspiracy theorist .
Has she ever dug up a bent nail?? NO
Does she know shes talking to the man who found a horse shoe. Hes a legend in the metal detection world
She referring to gittins haha class
"Is that a Garrett Pro Pointer in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" 😛
Not every hoarder keeps their junk in a deal or no deal box tho 😏
Hope your treasure covered the £2.30/hr parking charges.
This is excellent!! I’m so invested in this. Well done David.
"... what turns you off?" The sigh, the long pause... no more questions, your honor.
I’ve never really commented on RUclips videos but this series has me commenting on every one 😂 good to see you somewhere else

I think the casual attitude to whether flies are done up or not is very attractive.
There's no flies on our David...hang on!?! is that Charles wandering out to sea?
@@Krankyoldtime64 There were in his previous video..
Don't give up on this David! Please can we have some more!
I love David. He is good looking and funny. Even when I see him doing his channels I just can't get him out of character from Derek and afterlife

I’m far from an expert in this (I’ve seen all of the Detectorists + the finale though) but you’re moving it WAY faster than Toby Jones does
I remember seeing a detectorist scanning Abersoch beach after a bank holiday weekend.....that guy cleaned up! Must have found at least £3.50.
oooooh, look how tight that winding is on that shaft.
Have you gone quiet because you have found treasure?
I bought a bloody detector because of you.😂
back out Friday

The Ring Hunter in the wild! Double bubble on a Sunday, excellent.
'I don't mind nerd', I better not ask.
Kleptomaniac written all over it.

Naomi is 100% correct, but luckily (I think 🤔), David hasn't gone into metal detecting for the babes.
david's style is fire

He just looks at the 500 plus empty holes he left from the last time and moves over a bit.
@@johncraig2684 😂
I was thinking that! I wonder if he leaves a marker on a fence or something.
