As someone who wants to learn more about service dogs, I love these tipes of videos. These videos have plenty of information, and I like seeing someone train their dog. Your videos are very helpful, and I allways look foward to them, thanks!❤
Hey thank you so much for your videos and diligence with Astro. I’ve been working with my psd on and off but lately I’ve been staying inside as often as possible because I get nervous to leave the house. Seeing the hard work and teamwork you guys have built is really encouraging and makes me determined to work harder.
My service dog has his off days as well, usually at work, on down stays and heeling. Wish his dog treats didn't cost so much, lol. Love your videos, keep'm coming!
My guess is that he tasks in public the best because that is where you yourself are less comfortable and more anxiety therefore Astro is more focused on you and what's going on with you and around you. At home there is much less to make you anxious and Astro knows this. It seems like maybe he "turns on work mode" better in public because of that. I could be wrong, just my thoughts. You guys are still doing wonderful and Astro is an amazing good boy!
Another thing you can do is just have the vest on while at home not doing much so he can be like " hey this thing doesn't hold the make or break on me working I can do my normal stuff" and that can also make him feel comfortable. I think he's doing well enough for you not to have the vest be what indicates him working or not.@@AstroFromTheBlue

!! Same here, making your own treats may help with the cost! Thanks for always supporting ❤️

This is a great looking video can't wait to watch! Could you do some more off lead videos? They're my favourite!
!! Aww thank you, yes ofc!! ☺️☺️☺️ always doing off leash work with him :)
yay i’m so glad my comment was helpful!! cant wait to see more videos!
☺️☺️ excited to hear more from you!!
Wait, do you have a video on how you make those dried treats??
If you ask for the center with him coming from behind your back in between your legs that may be a bit easier. Love your videos!
I think just keep working with him at home with the vest on will help it just takes time.
!! Will do! ❤️❤️

My son was diagnosed with Anxiety this past summer & will be going to college in the fall di you think a service dog could help with the transition?
Astro's casual farts 😂
Do you practice center inside often? It could be that he hasn't generalized it and only knows what center is when you're outside :)
Yes we do practice center often indoors!! We will have to train a lot with his vest on 💖
What kind of dog is ASTRO? Looks like maybe a Catahoula or Blue Healer idk
Astro is an Australian Shepherd!
He is a tricolor Merle Australian shepherd
