*LOUD GEARBOX* Chaserider 144 YJ64 DWK Optare MetroCity Route 3

Here is Chaserider 144 operating the 3 from Brownhills to Cannock and filmed from Brownhills High Street to Chasewater. 144 has a rather loud gearbox which is very nice to hear.
144 was new as a demonstrator bus and was displayed at the Euro Bus Expo 2014. It spent some time on loan to various operators including Arriva Shrewsbury, Ministerley Motors and Go North East. It received a blue livery while on loan to Go North East. 144 also spent some time with Caelloi before being purchased by D&G bus and being allocated to Cannock.
This bus has a Euro 6 rated Mercedes Benz OM94LA engine and an Allison 2100 gearbox.
