CPST on demand! As requested, here is an intro to the Keyfit padding (soft goods) and how to buckle up baby in the Chicco Keyfit 30. Demonstrated by a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST)

The Chicco Keyfit 30 has shoulder strap covers, a body pillow, and a head pillow. All of these items on this seat are optional. However, the body pillow MUST be removed when baby is 11lb.
