Here's where I come when I need a dose of wholesome escape from the crazy. I love your channel, and your wonderful stories about your family and heritage. Watching you cook such delicious food makes me feel safe and cozy. Blessings on all of you!
This video was so fun to watch. You make everything so easy to achieve with your clear instructions. Every video I've ever watched of yours looks delicious! You and your family are so lovely.
Hello Mrs. La Marca! I'm so happy seeing you for the first time because you teached us about making granita with different flavors, I like watching because you explained very well.... And Because it's from Italian style, I always wanted to watch how you do it... Thanks for sharing and introducing your husband and that video editor and your beautiful kitchen .. 🤗❤️❤️❤️
I love this! Perfect homemade sweet snack for my 2 young boys without worrying about them eating all the chemicals in store-bought dessert. I just purchased your cookbook and I'm so excited! I am very grateful for your channel. I grew up eating Italian foods all my life but through an ancestry DNA test learned I am majority sicilian- I have enjoyed so much going through each video and making new recipes for myself and husband and children. And you make it so easy- such a winderful teacher- Thank you!!
I am so, so, so, happy to find you have a RUclips channel!! You are one of my favourite pasta grannies, and i love learning more from you in this way! Also on a side note: you have the best home! So cozy and inviting!
Ciao Giovanna. I love your beautiful videos. I’m also from Sicilian origin my first holiday back to Sicily was so wonderful I had for the first time granita di mandorla it was so delicious to eat. God bless your dear lady ,you are such a wonderful inspiration to me. God bless you so much. Ciao e bouna Fortuna per tu e tua famiglia
Thank you so much! you can make a granita di mandorla by using equal amounts of ORZATA and milk. Orzata is an almond syrup which is added to water or club soda to make a refreshing summer drink. You can find it in any Italian grocery store.
Hi Giovanna- What a beautiful video of delicious granita recipes!!! Brings back memories from when I traveled to Italy with my parents and we ate granita and brioche at so many cafes in Sicily and Rome. Thank you for bringing us into your home with your family and sharing so many wonderful dishes!!! We love you! Tina Cavalieri and Aida and Donald Costello

This makes me miss Sicily so much! 🥹 thank you for the recipe 💕 by any chance, will you be doing a recipe for the brioche? 😅 that would be so perfect with these granitas!
My favorite summertime treat! I, like you, also like my lemon more tangy😊, then again, I use less sugar in all of them except chocolate. I've never made that one but now I have no excuse, Thank you
Every summer I go and pick sour cherries at a farm in upstate New York... I can't wait to make sour cherry granita!!! So happy I found your channel (thanks, Pasta Grannies!!)
Love the idea. I have never been to Italy, although it is on my wish list. I think the chocolate or coffee, or even both together, might make a nice alternative to Christmas pudding (which I hate) with our Christmas meal. 🤗
Wow, that was fascinating! Your granite look less watery than the ones I've seen. And thank you so much for introducing your husband, the girl and your stories. I will subscribe becuse I love hearing stories from people who have lived longer than me. You seem so kind. Godsend. P.S. love how your house looks and your beautyfull kitchen!!! Very relaxing.
I make a light syrup with 1 part sugar and 2 parts water, but you can also make a heavy syrup with equal parts of sugar and water. Mix the sugar and water, bring to the boil, lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, cool to room temperature, and keep in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Thank you, there will be another video on November 3rd, 2020 in celebration of the Birthday of the Bel Canto Composer, Vincenzo Bellini, for whose Opera Pasta alla Norma is named.
I had this and a brioche once in Catania. It was full of fresh pistachios. Definitely the coolest and sexiest breakfast in the world! Do you have a recipe for baking brioche?
It is an amazing breakfast. I also had a brioche filled with mulberry granita in Catania; it was unforgettable. You can look up a brioche recipe on RUclips.
Granita is perfect when you live in a scorching inferno like Phoenix, Arizona that lasts from June to... well... this year... Until this week (Today is 10/29/24). Omg xD You used the SpongeBob time stamp. ANYONE who does this is A-OK with meee! Correct me please... Before this video... I thought that granita was more icey... like scraped ice. I thought it was more like this - ruclips.net/video/ChiS8NP2VJg/видео.html

There is nothing like a nonna Italiana teaching you recipes. I love your videos. ❤
This is the best thing I've ever seen, I uses to work at a high-end coffee shop before Starbucks existed in NY. We made Italian sodas and granitas.
Well, now you can make them at home! Enjoy!
The three of them at the end put a huge smile on my face ❤❤❤❤
This video was so fun to watch. You make everything so easy to achieve with your clear instructions. Every video I've ever watched of yours looks delicious! You and your family are so lovely.

Notice “old fashioned” lemon juicer. That’s why it’s still working!😉!😂😂😂
Wow, finalmente un canale tutto tuo. Proverò a rifarla! Ribadisco i miei complimenti!
Grazie tantissimo!
Lovely video
Aftr the food processor is it back to to the Freezer or to the fridge? Won't it get hard again in the freezer?
Back in the freezer, and after the processor it will remain ready to enjoy and easy to scoop; it will not be a block of ice.
Thank you for an easy way to make granitas. What is the ice pick tool called?
The strong, fork like tool, is made to chop chocolate bars.
It looks so delicious. You're very good at cooking. That's a good recipe. wow good Information. :D
Thank you, Granita is certainly the best dessert after a newly wed meal!
buon giorno! Question, isn t simple syrup equal parts water and sugar dissolved and cooled? thank you!
